-Biography: Maverik was born to a low-income middleclass family. His father, Kyle Frond, was a carpenter and his mother, Alicia Frond, was a teacher. When she became pregnant, the pair went to the Cloud Temple for the monk’s fabled protection and the peace that surrounds the area. Upon Alicia’s recovery from the birth the new family went back home to Oren. As he grew, Maverik learned his father’s craft, as well as basic reading, writing, and math from his mother. Through her work, Maverik discovered the thousands of worlds inside a book. His favorite by far was the ones with magic. His dream became to be a Practitioner of Magic. His father also taught him simple woodcraft, so that the boy could go to the outlying forest during the day without much danger. The family watchdog, Dosie, accompanied him on these trips. It would have gone on if not had travesty struck. During a trip to the forest the house burned down with his parents inside. It was Sunday afternoon, days before his tenth birthday. Knowing the awful conditions that most orphanages had, Maverik didn’t stick around. Everything was gone except Dosie, his clothes, and his favorite book about a traveling warrior who helped people in his journeys, with his wizard friend. 5 years passed on the street and now he is older, tougher, and alone. Now with whispers of magic echoing throughout the land, he remembers his dream to become a wizard. But first… it was time to get some new clothes.

-Character Appearance: Dressed in rags at the moment, will soon upgrade to a simple robe, and so on becoming more rich as the magic grows.

-Character Personality: He is patient, born through years of hard street life. When insulted he can get pretty hot-tempered. But, generaly he likes talking and working with people.

-Can you wield a sword?: No, but knows he will have to learn before his journey is over.

-Other Information: This is my first time and I’m not certain on the whole rp thing. The way I think I've set it up is that my guy has a little building and reading/writing skills. He has patience and fortitude. He also may be a bit greedy. Years of street life taught him to hoard what he can. He is a dog person. Of course he will start practicing his sword fighting skills when he realizes fists does little against a armored bandit.

So I THINK I've got a good character.
