*A paper is stuck to the notice board, and it has long loopy hand writing*

I am an expert at swordplay, and know many fighting styles. I am also looking to learn magic of Healing, and Air Evocation. I know of Blundermore, the only Air Magus known by me. But before I learn that, I would like to learn Healing Magic. I am also in need of a family, perhaps a Mali'aheral clan. I am proud, and logical. I have lived in several places over my life, though I have no home currently. I know some Elven, and can grasp some basic words. I am usually found in Haelun'or and Normandor, though usually Haelun'or. I have a love for books, knowledge, swordplay, and life. That is why I would like to learn Healing Magics. I do not care the teacher, or task I have been set on, all I wish to do is learn more, and follow the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. Tell me the time, and place we would be meeting to see about my employment, I have the minas to travel, yet I would rather save it if something were to happen. I thank you for your time, and I hope to learn, or be employed soon.

Signed, Laer'nal

[Omg, you stole Monkey's avatar.

But let's get serious. Have you taken the time to read the posts in the magic section? If you had, you would have known that Air Evocation is currently a difficult subject, seeing as it's last teacher has recently quit LotC. Not to mention a Magic Application will be needed for you to actually learn it, and an approved OOC teacher. Even though you seem uninformed, I wish you good luck on becoming a mage of sorts.

((I've already explained to you that I cannot help you as of this moment because I am in the new world in terms of rp as it was the only way to explain where Blundermore went for so long now. I'd say that you should first focus on building your character in terms of personality and his/her beliefs etc.

To quote what I said:

Unfortunately Blundermore is kinda in the new world right now... It was the only way I could explain where I went for months so I cannot help as of this time. Though I will say what I said before, if you can find me IC'ly convince my character that your action's and reasons for wanting to learn are just then I would take you on. Problem is however that I have yet to find one that followed up on such an offer and complete the tasks given to them to determine if they are of the qualities Blundermore IC'ly is looking for. Seeing how he is an Ascended, and actually scorns most magic users despite the fact he is a master wizard himself on the simple fact that he was in fact part of the ancient war that destroyed Aegis, that was done with magic. He looks for those with similar qualities of those who would be considered for the Ascended.

Simply, I do not respond to requests simply made over the forums via OOC means. Neither does Blunder respond to message by bird. Seeing how the truly determined person would seek his teachings if they really wished to learn. That is the first task set to those who wish to be taught by me. Determination.

All I can say is... Good luck, or look else where. For this is an endeavor many have embarked apon and failed. A challenge you could call it.

The new map is only a short while away.))

[blundermore, I already did so. Made an app for this character. I told about his beliefs and such.]

[Mr. Sythaerin, I know, but part of the reason I want Laer'nal is because it is rare, no one really uses it. And because of the difficulty. I like me a quest.]

[Monkey, I changed it. And I really liked the avatar, so do not hate on me for not being original, tons of people use the same avatar, the wheatly people and such. Well not the Dalai Lama, but still, you get what I mean.]

No, I mean what you've made for an app is your starting point, but you character doesn't stay like that for the entire time, what I mean by character building is just going out and experiencing the world for what it is. Letting your character grow through encounters. Let the world around shape your personality, you may find that what you end up with is a lot different than what you started with, and may like it even more than what you started with.))
