[3.0] Build Progression

All 3.0 builders are now whitelisted on the dev server and may begin exploring the North, the Event Team's primary area of operations. Below I have accumulated many of the main tasks for our builders to construct for the North. However, please note that these projects will be completed in steps and stages, and you may only begin when you are given permission to do so. Also note that simply because one builder is given permission to start a build, it does not give you or anyone else the go-ahead. Keep in mind that I may only want selected builders to build certain projects. Our official Event Team builders will get priority over any of our actors, mainly due to the fact that this is their chance to shine and have their own large role in the development of the server and new map. With all of that said, here is the list of assignments that we will go through, one at a time. I will add to this as new ideas are gathered or plans change.

  1. Clear out small trees near the center of the North [100%]
  2. Build a rough "guide" (path) that leads explorers through the land [90%]
  3. Voxel/build caves and caverns that the drakes will dwell in [65%]
  4. Construct abandoned/ruined tribal camps, and non-destroyed ones as well [50%]
  5. Drake skeletons or other dead bodies (soul sand) [0%] (Optional)
  6. Primary tribal base of operations [50%]
  7. Unique land features and aesthetics [75%]
  8. Large drake skull (sealed off with ice) [0%]

That's all I can think of for now. I'll give further instructions tomorrow, so don't begin yet!

I can only imagine how epic the North will look when we're though with it... >:3

I would like to ask for a new progress report with updates on what our priority should be besides finsihing the ruins/tribal camp.

Also we can't forget that there is still a whole nother section to the north.

Personally I think that we should advert all attention to the basic path and seal off the other paths with ice.

That way they can be revealed later on instead of all at once.

Just my thoughts but I have already added a simple medium sized tunnel system in one of the ravines

I updated the current progress report to a rough degree of accuracy. However, I'll continue to give further instructions later on once we finish what we have started. As you said, certain pathways and areas will be "sealed off" in one way or another -- hopefully in a way that intrigues and creates questions for players.
