I played in late December and Early January as Korosus Aphelion and Korozar Aphelion, and now I will play as a brand new character as an elongated descendant of my two other characters.

Out-Of-Character Details

Minecraft Account Name: R0cketor

How old are you?: 14

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Australia, Eastern Standard Time (+10)

Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language?: Yes, I am a native speaker and fluent in English.

Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: Yes, I was previously on this server during the dying days of Aegis under the name 'Korosus Aphelion' for about two months. When Aegis ended, I stopped as well. I have also played a lot of Roleplay on other Minecraft servers, such as the (now deceased) Vinecraft.

Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?: Yes, I understand the rules perfectly and agree with them.

How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: I have played on this server before as I have mentioned earlier. I first heard about this server in December 2011 when searching up on Google, 'RPG Minecraft Servers'.

Link any previous applications you have made to the Lord of the Craft: This is my first Application for my new character.

Have you posted this application on Minecraft Forum? If not, post it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r-100-unique-gameplay/! : Yes, I have posted this.

Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:

Role-playing is the concept of sticking to a certain role or character (as the name suggests) and attempting to integrate with your character and delve into the experience. The fun is not from

killing zombies, or other players - the fun is in the civility of the players and their role playing experience. Such roles are very important to maintain a great lore and players with poor role playing skills often would ruin dramatic scenarios.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is obtaining intelligence otherwise impossible or extremely difficult to obtain by using OOC, or messaging people over the forums. It is frowned upon in the Role-playing society as one such could find out co-ordinates of their enemy's base instantaneously with no effort, etc.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: I personally have called this 'God Moding' - the act of simply attacking a player without emoting or giving them a chance. By continuously swiping an enemy without notice, one would ruin lore and the role-playing experience, as the enemy cannot block, or react in any way possible. Power emoting also can force other players to do certain things. For example, if I said 'Aldenzar pulls out his blade, grabs Jimmy, throws him against the wall and slices his mouth open', this would be considered Power-emoting and I would be banned.

In-Character Details

Character Name: Aldenzar Aphelion

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

The Aphelions. Not well known, but they were a nimble force in the times of Aegis. Their heritage came from the first Aphelion, Korosus, my ancestor, who entered this land as a refugee from his burning island and the death of his parents. He was born in 1280 and entered the empire of Oren in 1302, at the age of 22. Korosus entered Galahar and began to work as a woodcutter. After two years, he was attacked by two Undead, and fled for the nearby city of New Terriko. He hid and hid, until they came. The two men struck again. He was about to face his doom, until, out of the darkness, came a raging dwarf, in full dark armour, and dispatched the two. The dwarf picked Korosus up and invited him to join the Wolves, a clan north of Galahar. He succeeded the test and soon became a scout of their resistance. He worked for the Wolves, attempting to pay off his life to them. He was married with his wife in the year 1320, at the age of 40, and had one child in 1334, Korozar.

Well, it was the attack of the Undead in 1349 that caused his downfall. New Terriko was attacked, and his entire home, and family were decimated, except for his son. He was forced to escape to Galahar, which was also being attacked. He had packed his gear to head to the northern portals in an attempt to seek safe haven with his son Korozar - but his escape was short-lived. The two undead beasts that attempted to attack him had caught up with him - and killed him. His son managed to escape, but he died at the age of 69.

Korozar, must have seen all the horror of the attack of Aegis with his own eyes. He was 15 in the attack of Aegis and, when his father died, he had run to the northern portals with the guards fleeing to them. He was a mercenary with the Wolves and once he got to the portals, he watched the Champions enter. After quite some time, the man named Blundermore had a plan to escape to the Verge. Korozar was part of this fleet towards the Verge, only being a teenager. However, he had a fatal accident in piloting the ships, and was lost deep in the seas. After seven years of searching, Korozar finally made it to Asulon. He settled there for four years until marrying in 1360 and having one son. Korozar died in 1416 at the age of 82 in his home.

I know not of any other relatives until my modern time of today, but this is my story.

The earliest time of me I remember was me in the woods, at eleven years of age. My parents were killed by rabid shadows that I cannot muster as to what they were. Everyday, I would hunt with the wolves in an attempt to kill wild boars or cows, but I'd never be able to get any - the wolves would always get them. I love my bows and they love me. But, out of nowhere, the Holy Order grabbed me by the neck and threw me into Oren. I went down screaming and went into a dark blackout for a few days, until waking up.

I woke up in the Sanctuary, feeling revitalised. This is when I truly remembered what my goal was. I was - I am the last of the Aphelions. I cannot let myself go to waste. And as such - I have travelled as a nomad around the world of Asulon, trying to maintain and discover my destiny about my ancient Aphelion heritage. We weren't much at all - but damn, I'd love to be in a clan.

Note: This is the actual history of me (R0cketor) with my playable characters. After Korozar reached Asulon, I left for personal studies for eight R/L months (February to now, October) and as such my family has gone lost and now I begin with Aldenzar.

What are your characters ambitions?: To seek the history of my ancestor, Korosus Aphelion.

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://i50.tinypic.com/f4h5aw.png

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: My resemblance is very similar to Korosus - Korosus wore a red strap around his body and did not have iron shoulder plates. Aldenzar wears iron plates on his shoulders because he has been cut severely in these locations by an insane orc that attacked him whilst conversing. He also wears a brown strap around his body, and Korozar wore a blue strap. He also dislikes orcs and is neutral about dwarves and elves, but will not kill any on sight.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

*Aldenzar is strolling down the path to Arethor, and he notices a poor dwarf selling assorted anomalies.

*The Dwarf looks up at him and smiles, wishing to sell wares.

*Aldenzar walks up cautiously and converses but keeps his wits about him.

Aldenzar: Hello, dwarf! Fine day it is. That's some nice wares you have there!

Dwarf: Why thank you, adventurer. Would ye like to buy some fine ingots or armour?

*Aldenzar inspects the armour.

*The Dwarf smiles and shows him the armour

Dwarf: My armour is made of the finest iron. Please buy something', matey, I'm down a bunch of minas and if yer could just..

*Aldenzar leans on the bench

Aldenzar: Very well. A helmet would be great! They'd compliment my hilt nicely.

*The Dwarf smiles.

Dwarf: Great! That be 85 minas.

*Aldenzar opens his wallet and pulls out 85 minas.

*Dwarf takes the minas and hands Aldenzar his helmet.

Dwarf: That helmet looks great on yer.

*The Dwarf coughs and splutters.

Aldenzar: Haven't you drunk anything recently?

Dwarf: Aye, no, the Dwarves from my home city kicked me out for not liking to rage war. I was decimated and decided since ye humans are nice people, I thought i could set up yer shop 'ere.

Aldenzar: Damn, that's a shame. Come to the bar with me and we'll drink some ale, we'll get dizzy, haha!

*Dwarf looks at Aldenzar.

Dwarf: ALE!? Did ye say ALE!? LET'S GO!

*Aldenzar walks towards the bar.

*The Dwarf catches up with him and walks to the bar with him.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

*Aldenzar inspects the situation, and stands a few meters back.

*Ug'thurubdol swings his large fisticuffs in the air.

*Rorik retreats in fear and yells.

Rorik: HELP! HELP! This crazy orc chased me all the way here from my home village!

Ug'thurubdol: Hahha sily dworf your gone to b mnie now! Give my swrod back!

*Ug'thurubdol swings for the Dwarf near his head.

*Rorik jumps back and pulls out his war hatchet.

Rorik: Head back, ye filthy green monster!

Ug'thurubdol: Dwrof, yu took my swrod! Giv it bak u thef!

*Rorik unsheathes the Orc's sword and holds it alongside his war hatchet.

Rorik: Come and get it, you stupid orc! You're never getting your sword back, just like you will never get ye son back! Herherherher!

Ug'thurubdol shouts: ROAR! Yor an evil dwarf! U killed al I have just because i am an ork!

*Aldenzar steps in and unsheathes his longbow, aiming for the Dwarf.

*Rorik does not take notice and charges for the Orc with his two blazing weapons of iron and steel.

*Aldenzar fires a volley of arrows towards Rorik.

(I fire two shots at Rorik, bringing him down to two hearts as he was careless and did not worry about me)

Rorik: Ayee! Dumb human! I will get ye dwarves on yer! Stupid ork, take your filthy weapon! I hated it anyways!

*Rorik drops the ork's blunt sword on the floor and retreats.

Ug'thurubdol: Danks humon, dat dwarf killed my son and destyroed my house.

Aldenzar: Pleasure to be of service, orc.

Ug'thurubdol: Ere. You mite like dis.

*Ug'thurubdol hands the human some fine hardleather boots.

*Aldenzar puts them on, smiles and parts ways.

*Ug'thurubdol walks off back to his village.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

*Aldenzar is walking and notices an old man on the ground. He also notices the minas.

*Teraknos is wailing and hurt on the ground. He looks up at a young adventurer.

Teraknos: Hello…sir?

Aldenzar: Hold on, elder. I'll make something for you.

*Aldenzar crafts a long walking stick out of one plank and two sticks.

Aldenzar: Here, elder man, take this. I just made it for you.

*Teraknos smiles and grabs the stick.

Teraknos: Many thankyous, adventurer.

*Teraknos tries to stand up ad fails and falls down again.

*Aldenzar sighs, bends down and picks up the man onto his feet.

Aldenzar: You okay?

Teraknos: Yes, I am fine. Thank you, adventurer. I'll be on my way.

*Aldenzar was expecting a reward and was turned down, as such. He walks back, with his head down in disappointment.

*Teraknos laughs whilst walking.

Aldenzar whispers: What an old hag...
