Ardene Telrunya, the blonde elven lass sits at the side of a road by a campfire. She gently strokes her lute, playing an eerie tune for herself when she sees you walking by. "Oi, traveller. Why don't you come down for a sit? The moon is high and the air is cold."

Smirking, she begins to speak with a voice that sounded almost possessed.

"Oh, once upon a time lived a little girl in a village far far away from 'ere. This lass loved to draw and write on and she 'ad a notebook that she'd always do it in, but ... one day ... the book ran out of pages." she says eerily.

Ardene continues, slowly strumming her lute as she speaks. "The girl did not see this as a major problem. She slowly strided down to the general store at midnight where she got all of her supplies to see that the store was open. However, the kind lady who ran the store was not there..."

Ardene's strumming picks up and she begins to speak louder and more ominously. "Instead ... there ws a dwarf behind the counter. The dwarf was short, fat, and ugly. Sighing, the girl walks up to the counter and asks for a single note book. The dwarf pauses for a second..."

Speaking in a dwarfish accent fairly well, she continues. "The dwarf simply said that the book would be seventy five minas. The girl simply nodded and left a small pouch of minas on the table. Yet ... right when the girl opened the door, the dwarf shouted loudly, saying "Wait, whatever you do ... do not look at the back of the book!" The girl simply shrugged, and skipped home and continued to draw in the middle of the night."

"The girl drew all her favourite things and sat at her desk, wondering what to draw next. Then, she muttered to herself darkly. "I wonder what's at the back of the book...". The girl slowly flips to the back of the book..." Ardene says, biting her tongue.

"And she screams!" Ardene shouts. "Because ... at the end of the book, it said sixty five minas..." Ardene says, before finally bursting out into laughter.

"Hm, how about you traveler? Got a creepy story?" she says, still chuckling heavily.
