His Grace, Maris Guivret has been named successor to His Grace Balian's position as Duke of Auvergne. Upon Balian's death, he made it known that his wishes were for his son to be his successor, effective immediately. All Auvergnese nobles are now subject to the rule of Duke Maris Guivret. You should present yourself to His Grace at your earliest convenience to swear fealty unto him.

As Maris slowly strides into the keep, he goes through the worries in his mind of his father's death. Soon, he began speaking with his adviser, what to do and how to do it?

Thoughts raced through his mind and ideas sparked, beginning to try and bring back the name of the Duchy. Soon enough, it was decreed and notices were posted as Maris sat on his throne for the first time.
