Death of Ameka Therkul

Ameka laid on the bed with her eyes closed. She knew she wasn't going to live for much longer. Though she managed to survive the attacks on Va'Khajra, she acquired a few fatal injuries in the process. Claw marks were strewn across her stomach and chest and she was quickly losing blood.

She found her daughter and grandchildren in the city of Enismor. She learned that Kunaral had since adopted two kittens, and named the female after her. The journey was long and painful, she was barely walking by the time she arrived. It was well worth the trip to see her daughter one last time, she concluded. She felt weaker. Kunaral called a healer, but it was too late. Nothing could be done to treat her injuries by the time she reached Enismor.

She wanted to think of pleasant thoughts before she died. Her family, her husband, her daughter, all the cake she ate... No one would want to die in agony. She wished she didn't have to die this way. She tried to breathe again, but she couldn't. The pain numbed.
