((So, to explain a little of how this is going to go: I am going to make an Rp post for Elene, and then will post follow ups with journal entries, you can respond to the RP post, but the journal entries are private ooc information, also to RPly explain why Elene was gone for so long. I thought it would be good to relate the reason I was gone, I got real sick and was bedridden, to why Elene was gone, without further adieu, here we go!~))

The manor stood quietly, still, unmoving. A cool wind blew past it, the trees rustling. The manor stood this way for quite some time, spiderwebs gathered paired with dust upon the floor. A slight rustling can be heard from upstairs, a groaning almost, it grows louder as the door creaks open, a figure stepping out. The figure stumbles down the stairs, cringing, trying to keep her balance. She steps into the main room, the sun from the window shining brightly on her face. She squints, holding her hands up and rubbing her face. She looks around, mumbling, moving to the kitchen, where she wolfs down some bread and quickly drinks a large glass of water. Wiping her chin, she moves to the front door. Jiggling the handle and opening it. Her bare feet slap upon the wooden floor. She is ragged, her long silver hair matted, creeping over her shoulders in a web-like pattern. Her face is gaunt, sunken in, with dark circles below her green eyes. She stands in her nightgown, worn and stained. Taking in her surroundings, she looks up to the sign above her door...

"...Elder Elene? The nether does that mean? And who messed with my sign?"

Sighing, she continues down the road, but back in her house, a leather bound notebook sits upon the table, its pages also worn and tattered, words crowding the page, in a cacophony of letters and paragraphs. The woman moves further towards the center of Normandor, stopping to rest on the sidewalk. She rubs her face, pushing back her hair. She has the appearance of Elene Silverwind, but much more old and sickly. She sighs again, and appears approchable.

Orlanden takes a break from his Princely duties one sunny afternoon and decides to take a walk around his city. As he strolls by Elene's home, a sign catches his eye. He doubles takes and actually reads it this time. "Elder Elene?" He thinks. He lets out a sigh, "Why do people not understand that there are only four Elders in Normandor? This is the third time I've encountered this issue". He shakes his head and continues his walk. About half way around the city, a hawk lands at his feet. He takes and reads the note it is carrying. He crumbles the paper and tosses it over his shoulder as he speeds his pace. "Never a moment's peace".
