Suika 111 Share Posted November 14, 2012 Purification. The thick darkness enshrouded her face once more. Wiping the thin, invisible sweat accumulating on her forehead, Suika brushed back her course light-brown hair in front of her eyes, it’s usual texture made course by garden work. She stood up, brushed some dirt off of her dress and sighed, “This has to end…” Smelling the somewhat fresh breeze roll in from the horizon, she looked out at the bay from the tower -- tranquil, serene, and not brown. She felt through her thick hair once more, the knots grew to be unmanageable so she gave up; she might have been born pure, but she sure did not feel like it at this moment. Her hair was too brown, her personality too fast-paced, she felt overworked, she needed change. Unable to bear another second of dismal stagnation in life, she rushed to her desk. Popping open a new bottle of ink because the last dried up, she dipped her plain feather pen in and tapped it on the edge to remove excess. She flattened out a paper from in front of her right and started to right with her left hand: To whomever it may concern, whether it be Lucion or Dio, It is time to turn a new page. This stage of life is reaching its dragging end and needs change, but only with your permission. I beseech you to allow me the privilege of purification of my hair by means of the golden pools. In abstract, these brown locks have got to go. I do believe you would agree that my hair is too brown. Who knows, perhaps the pools might change my outlook on life too… I ask that the time be set near the end of an elven week. With utmost sincerity, Suika L’Siol Switching the pen to her right hand, she signed her last name. Exhaling and feeling slightly relieved, she allowed the ink to dry and rolled the letter, tying it with a, commonly found, silk string. Scratching the back of her enshrouded head once more, she moved her hair around her head unsure of what to do with it all. Her face reverted to a neutral expression; her eyes looked at the ground and she proceeded to send the letter.
