Yes, thrice, and at least 10 high commanders in our time in Asulon. The Sentinels or whatever body of evarir have always stirred trouble because of a failure to simply protect. That is our goal, not to invade foreign nations. If all survives and I maintain this position, I will see to it that it is all we do, protect.

I believe if she was given more time, there would of been a mistake. Her term as a high commander was a single elven week, hardly enough time to make a mistake.

And here we are at last! We have all made mistakes, but we need to realize what our mistakes were and move onto actions. Actions that will, if not repair the damage done, at least make all right. Essentially, what will we do to grow from our mistakes?

Your arguments are invalid simply because you are blinded by your own hope so far that you fail to suggest courses of action other than blind faith. Delusions of grandeur will only worsen our predicament."

"Courses of action are what we need to be discussing. Hope remains, but as you say it is for naught if we do not act. Thus the only path left open to us is to act. So what paths remain? We cannot stay the current path, but recalling the council seems extreme and would make us more unstable than we already are. Unfortunately, it seems whatever answer we come to will be a difficult one. That is what we must e discussing here."

"As long as the decisions made are prudent and wise. That being said, decisions which are both prudent and wise require a synthesis of many as opposed to the wills of the few. The council consulting the entirety of the mali'nor and not simply themselves alone before making such incredibly influential decisions would be one such factor. A council of 4 can not solve a nation's problems."

"Aye, I believe I do agree with you, that four is much too small of a number for the council. In Aegis, the full council when convened was made up of eight princes and one High Prince. While it did take some time to reach a decision it was a safeguard to prevent rash decisions. We are not Valah. We are the sons and daughters of Malin. We live for centuries and as such cannot be swept up in the moment as it seems we all have been as of late. When we weather this storm a full council of nine members must be implemented if we are to regain our former glory."

"Come now, only two of us gathered here have opinions on the matter? If Mali'nor is to weather the storm we will need the help of all, not just us few speaking."

*glanes around to the faces assembled, proffering for one of them to speak up.
