Heff 2460 Share Posted January 8, 2013 I took a long time off from LOTC. One that I regret. After reviewing my skin from my past time on the server I realized it does not fit lore. I fixed my wood elf majorly. I also have missed the past events of the past yer. Should I post a new application for the same character but edited backstory. Or start a completely new character... Should I just continue with my old character and adjust to the new setting. I wish to improve my character backstory more… what should I do?

Aiden 173 Share Posted January 8, 2013 You shouldn't have to reapply to the server unless you're not whitelisted. I would recommend keeping your character and changing him unless you want to re-vamp him/her completely, in which case I would just create a new wood elf or something, and you could even use the same skin, if you wish to. Good luck and if you play an elf, I can't wait to RP with you ingame :)
Heff 2460 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Thanks for the advice... I will just keep him. And yes I'm a wood elf
hartham 0 Share Posted January 12, 2013 What is the "feel" of LOTC? Is it dark? cheerful? Or does it change through out time?
mmat 7460 Share Posted January 12, 2013 What is the "feel" of LOTC? Is it dark? cheerful? Or does it change through out time? The feel tends to change depending on what situation your character is in. There are many of both to be found, situations and moods do change.
Skippy 2466 Share Posted January 15, 2013 My application got accepted but when i try to join the server it said im not accepted and couldnt log in, help? Your application needs to be whitelisted by a GM. Once a GM has moved your application, you will be whitelisted.
Colt 6 Share Posted January 15, 2013 I've put in an application for an Orc about 48 hours ago, will it get reviewed this week or will I have to wait for the weekend?
Aiden 173 Share Posted January 15, 2013 I've put in an application for an Orc about 48 hours ago, will it get reviewed this week or will I have to wait for the weekend? It depends on when the members of the application team get around to reviewing it. Be patient and it'll eventually have a verdict. Good luck! :)

mercury19 0 Share Posted January 20, 2013 I was reading the FAQ that's linked on the main register page, and it suggested that one should log on as a "Wandering Soul" to get the feel of the server. I thought this would be a good idea. However, when I tried to log onto the IP given, it sayed it was for premium only. Is that outdated information, or am i doing something wrong? Thanks, m19

MamaBearJade 2090 Share Posted January 21, 2013 I am currently rewriting my entire application just so that maybe i could join, do I really have to wait until the exact time it was denied to reapply, or can I post it before i go to bed. I wasn't even denied until a few hours before I woke up. It would make it easier to post it before bed so I don't have to lose what I am working on.
