-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Simply put, yes. However, my grammer is the product of the American public school system, so take that as you will.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a recent college graduate with a degree in mathematics. I work as a research assistant by day, and by night I spend my time on the computer, often playing RPGs and WoW to pass the time. I also enjoy reading stories for enjoyment, especially those that take place in fantastic worlds.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I would expect an online time of about 10 to 15 hours a week, with more or less depending on the demands of work.

-How long have you played minecraft?: I've played for about a month, but so far all SSP.

-What do you know about roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the art of assuming a character and immersing yourself in the world that character exists in. I have experience with a tabletop RPGs, primarily D&D with a few short trips into Paranoia.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: This server looks to be one of the most vibrant RP communities I have found in the Minecraft community. The combination of individual accomplishment and cooperation I hope will make it a place where I can either actively participate in community relations, or simply mine and build in my own small plot of land as I please.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: This would be my first server.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have indeed.

-Name the 4 races on this server: The 4 selectable races are Dwarf, Human, Orc, and Elf. There are also two special races, Undead and Ascended, though I would not mind living my life in Aegis without encountering an Undead.

-How did you hear about us?: I encountered Lordofthecraft's youtube channel while looking for a server to join.

In-Character:

-Character Name: Norin

-What is your Race?: Dwarf

-Biography: Norin was born in the outskirts of Kal’Uruguan into a large family of builders. While he enjoyed the time he spent assembling great structures under the tutelage of others, he longed to know the origin of the materials used for these endeavors. Eventually, his curiosity overcame him and he asked for his father's blessing to leave the house and learn the art of digging. While the loss of a strong body would hurt the family, his father saw the hope in Norin's eyes, and gave him leave to do as he wished. With that, Norin left to join the crews in the dwarven quarries, refining his skills as a miner and quickly gaining the respect of his peers. Within a few years of practice, his pick could tear through the earth as quickly as any of the seasoned veterans' of the mines. After a hard season of mining in a quarry far from his home in Kal'Uruguan, Norin decided to visit his family, and embarked on his own for the trip home. On the way he met an old dwarf named Urist who was living on his own, farming the land for his livelihood. Norin stopped and helped the man till in exchange for a warm meal and a cool mug, and ended up spending the night listening to the old dwarf's tales of great mines in far-off lands. Norin decided to stay a while, and learned a bit of farmcraft from Urist. With his mind filled with images of caves filled with diamonds and gold ore, Norin eventually returned home for a short visit. After staying with his family for a week, listening to the news of Kal'Uruguan, he decided it was time for him to leave, and left in search of the great foreign mines Urist had told him of.

-Character Age: 220

-Character Appearance: Norin is a young, strong-bodied dwarf. With flaming red hair and simple earthy attire, he is by no means an exceptional looking dwarf. The clothes he wears are well-worn from years working stone.

-Character Personality: In company Norin is a joyful fellow, but not one to engage in long conversation. He prefers to listen to stories of deep mines and great towers in the comfort of a warm fire and a large mug. When on his own however, he is an enthusiastic miner, digging with the intent of exploration more than profit.

-Your ambitions: Norin hopes one day to be known as the greatest miner in Aegis. Each day, his goal is to simply dig a bit deeper into his beloved earth.

-Can your character read or write?: Norin can read well enough, but writing proves difficult for his hard-worked hands after many years of stonework, so his writing skill are primarily limited to simple signmaking for his own purposes.

-Can your character mine?: If there is one thing Norin truly rejoices in, it is mining. The simple thought of delving into the earth fills his heart with joy.

-Are you a capable builder?: Norin can build as well as any dwarf, but he holds not the creativity for the creation of beautiful sites such as Kal’Uruguan. His building is utilitarian and simple, with a preference for stone and glass above other material.

-Can you wield a sword?: Norin is not a fighter, and would be more comfortable defending himself with a pick than a sword.

-Enjoy Farming?: Norin's love of the earth focuses on that which lies below the surface, but he has been educated in the craft of farming enough to support himself if profits from his mining do not suffice.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Norin is no more than an average dwarf, his talent for mining being the only exceptional part of his skill set.

-Other Information: I do use Optifine to improve MC performance, and as I am new to the MP side of MC, I do not know if this would affect my ability to play on Lord of the Craft's server. If so, my online time would be reduced to only the time I have available at home, about 5-8 hours a week.
