I have had friends that had, and beyond when I was younger and making homemade rolepalys, or having short lived roleplays with friends in say, a game such as little big planet or halo, I have not done anything kind of prolonged roleplay for quite some time.

Roleplay is when you act as a character that is not yourself, but does reflect some qualities of yourself, or something in your life. Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Jasper has dark yet fair skin, short brown hair and green eyes. He is 153 and appears hardened and intense but that is merely a front to disguise his sensitive nature. In other words, he is very much an introvert but opens up towards those he is close with such as family, close friends, guild mates and those he must work with to accomplish a given task (however these people just receive polite small talk rather than his full personality). Jasper was born in a relatively isolated village with the rest of his family but was always sort of an outcast. When he was young, he would do nearly anything his elder family members said without question and was even blooming into a promising sculptor. However he noticed that his parents were very opinionated towards outsiders. Being the exploitative type, especially when searching for new materials to sculpt with, he would occasionally run across another high elf and maybe even an adventurous human! Curious he would watch them and would find them to be very similar to himself in many regards. When his father said that Jasper should outright distrust and reject anyone unlike himself, it did not bode well with him and he began to think very critically of everything and consider the possibility that not everything his family said may have been correct.

In his teenage years he noticed that his family was beginning to fall apart. He never really thought about it before, but his mother and father didn't really act like a couple that often. They began to drift apart and left the family split in two. A few months afterwards, one of the houses caught fire and killed his grandparents which left everyone else to pick up the pieces. The splitting of the family and the resulting conflict between his parents drove him to seek his own place in Malinor. He then traveled to the city of Normandor and has gone from apprenticeship to apprenticeship and even joined a few guilds along the way but hasn't really found his way yet. He still keeps in touch with his brothers and often wonders what is beyond Malinor. Sometimes he even considers leaving all together, but hasn't worked up the courage yet as he has not even found his footing where he currently resides.

What are your characters ambitions?:

Jasper hopes to one day explore the western lands but for the time being, he hopes to further his education and become grounded in his own lands. He also sculpts in his spare time and hopes to one day create something great for his future family or community.

Jasper is a young Dark elf who enjoys to walk through the woods and hunt for only what is necessary and occasionally visits his brothers at his place of birth.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

As Jasper enters the City of Arethor for the first time he notices a poor looking and very short human. However he feels that there is something not quite right about him.

However he does not yet know his way and approaches the individual.

"Um...Hello sir. C-can I please have some directions? I come from Malinor and do not yet know my way," Jasper asked tentatively.

"And you think I know any better than you? Look are you gonna buy something or not kid?" the shopkeeper said gruffly.

Confused Jasper asked impatiently, "Excuse me? Sir I am lost and you look like you may know the way"

Now beginning to become irritated, responded, "What do you think I am, human? I only just arrived here and am only trying to make a living. Sorry, I have been through rough times recently. Now if you aren't going to buy anything from here, I am going to have to ask you to leave. There are people waiting their turn."

Jasper accidentally blurted out, "You aren't human?"

The shopkeeper covered his hand with his face and then answered, "Look I'm a dwarf. Now please go away."

And with that, Jasper turned and left the shop now feeling very embarrassed.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

((I am making the assumption that this story happens after the first one))

Jasper is wandering the Oren road and spots a dwarf in the distance. Curious he gets a little closer, but does not interact with him in any way. Off the road a short distance he notices that an orc is closing in on the dwarf. Jasper lays low in some nearby bushes but cannot look away from the scene that is unfolding. Jasper also takes into consideration that this is a dwarf and can most likely defend himself much more effectively than Jasper ever could.

But then Jasper notices that this is an old, ill equipped dwarf. At that sight, Jasper jumps to his feet and rushes toward the orc. He then pulls out his bow and readies an arrow, but it is too late.

The shrieks of the dwarf pierce through Jasper's body as he releases the arrow.

Jasper then turns and walks away before the orc fell, deeply upset because he knew that had he reacted sooner, He could have saved this mans life.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Along the way to Malinor, Jasper notices an old man who appear to be walking the other way. "Um Hello?"

CRACK!

The old mans stick broke and he fell to the ground. His pouch of Minas fell to the ground and poured out onto the street.

"Here let me help you with that," Jasper said as he helped the old man up and then immediately began to help the man collect his belongings.

"Thank you very much young man. Here let me give you a few Minas for your trouble," The old man said kindly.

"Thank you very much sir. Would you like me to accompany you the rest of the way?" Jasper asked.

"No that wont be necessary. My Grandson is just behind me and will keep me safe on the way," The old man replied.

"Well be very careful along the way!" Jasper then turned away, counting the Minas and felt very good about what he had just done.

"Now to head to the market when I get back to Normandor!"
