Out-Of-Character Details

Minecraft Account Name:

Cooliomafia

How old are you?:

10

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

PT Pacific Time

Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language?:

Yes I do.

Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?:

You could say that. To bring more information I played and not often (but still do a little) and I understand it isn't the same concept. After about 2 months of studies, anxiety, and patience, I think my friends and the lore, wiki, forums, and different parts of the server that aid un-applied users have taught me enough and I convict that it is time I begin my first application and hope for the best.

Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?:

Yes I have.

How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?:

My friend suggested it to me, and seemed to be anxious to join it ever since.

Link any previous applications you have made to the Lord of the Craft:

Null :/

Have you posted this application on Minecraft Forum? If not, post it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r-100-unique-gameplay/! :

Yes, I have, but it didn't post correctly

Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:

Roleplaying is the act of playing a certain character and doing what the character would do. For example, if your character is an orc, then your character would have to speak orcish and talk like an orc. Example 2, if you were going to roleplay as a elf in the middle ages, you wouldn't speak like "Bye bro" you would be like "Farewell sir".

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:

Meta-gaming is a illegal move on the server. Meta-gaming is the act of using real-life knowledge for your roleplaying character. For example, when a character speaks in chat, and it displays his name; Ellenwen, for example, but your character hasn't asked for his name yet, if your character says "Ellenwen", that is meta-gaming.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:

Power-emoting is a frowned upon action. Power-emoting is when you force someone to do something. For example, if you are a abusive moderator and you go in god mode and kill everyone and take there stuff, which is illegal on this particular example server, that's power-emoting.

In-Character Details

Character Name:

Akran

Character Race:

Goblin

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Before the history, I will do the basics...

Akran's appearance: Akran has dark green skin, a big green nose, red eyes; with a black color layering behing the red eyes, torn clothes, and 2 white teeth sticking out.

Akran's personality: Akran is a layed back goblin who will try his best to stay out of trouble. Akran does what he needs for himself, not helping others, nor causing others trouble. When it comes to big duties and big actions, he doesn't like to stand out, and stays in the crowd. He is shy around humans and is typically with his fellow orcs.

Akran's age: 12

Extra details about Akran: He is very energetic and helpful around the fellow orcs and bruddahs around him. When it comes to their needs and requirements, he will do the best he can to help.

History of Akran, in other words, that big huge part that pretty much determines your application, as I have heard :P:

Akran, was a goblin with a simple life, that no one understood. Akran’s parents didn’t want to keep Akran, therefore they put him in the adoption. Akran was a few months old. When Akran was 7 months old, Bolgar’Lur adopted him and made him a proud member of the Lur family. Although Akran was a goblin, Bolgar’Lur treated him like an orc, for those were the people he was going to be with for his whole life. Some of these ways were training him at birth, and teaching him his ways.

Since Akran wasn’t truly a creation of Bolgar’Lur, people started to lose respect for him. He also was different, unlike most orcs who aren’t afraid to show themselves and show their honor and yell with pride, Akran laid back and did what he needed for him and his family. People said this is his code: Work, make, survive. After Akran realized this he was afraid his father would be dishonored of him, therefore he joined the army at the age of 9 and his father begged him not to, but he didn’t listen. A year after Akran finished a war he came back and his father was surprised. His father hugged him, and told him not to do that again.

After all of that when he arrived all the orcs turned and locked their eyes at him surprised and in denial of his success. Akran announced that he simply wanted to prove himself and no other reason proves for why he had done such a thing. Afterwards Akran crafted a life of simplicity, tranquility, and peace of mind, he tried his best not to get in unreasonable trouble.

What are your characters ambitions?:

Akran's ambitions are to stay out of harm trouble and troubling acts, such as killing, arguing, etc. But he still has a history upon him, winning a war and staying safe, so if he must defend himself, he has the ability.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Merrily humming and waddling down the sidewalk. When Akran hear's the poor dwarf's call outs for help, anxious and wondering, he will try to find the dwarf. As Akran arrives he gazes at the dwarf and the dwarf reaches his hand out for a spare by Akran. Akran then points his eyes toward the dwarves filthy hands. The goblin, still with a enjoyable mood asks "Wub is lat doin?". "Spare me som' change?" the dwarf says. As the goblin is confused, he responds saying "Oh", and stares for a few more seconds. "Well?" the dwarf says. The goblin then skips away merrily, not worrying about the dwarf, and the dwarf moves on to the next commoner, hoping for any chance.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

While Akran is walking back to his home and he realizes this situation happening he hesitates. He wonders if he wants to do anything about it, as his mouth quivers he then stops himself from uttering any words. He then finds a few leaves behind him, and with him green skin, he blends in. As stated earlier, he does not like to get into trouble. As he feels kind of sad to himself, he speaks to himself saying in a hushed voice "Well he iz a uruk". Once the orc is finished and has left the goblin will happily walk back home, but with barely any guilt inside of him.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

As the old man asks Akran for help, Akran scratches his head and hesitates. As Akran reaches his hand out to the old man, the old man grabs it, groaning while trying to pull himself up. The old man then asks for help from Akran picking up the minas back. The goblin then smiles and nods and picks up some minas and drops the shiny coins in the bag. When the old man is finished packing up and tight he pats Akran on the shoulder and says "Thank you sir." and takes his way off to his home. Akran then says "Were do you think latz goin'?". Then the old man turns around and shrugs while quietly saying "Hmmm?". The goblin then rushes up to the old man and says. "Gimme da shineys, mi helped latz, lat gimme da shineys". The old man sad and worried hands over the bag of minas to Akran. Then Akran feeling happy and accomplished goes to the orcs to give them the money that he has recieved from the old man.

  • Your power-emoting definition is incorrect and should be revised.

  • Please expand your second open response question, it lacks much detail and should be expanded.

  • Your biography should be free-flowing and should appear as a short, third person perspective story, some parts of it seem to break this and make it a bit disorganised.
