In-Character Details

Character Name: Kirden Bannolds

Character Race: Human

Character biography:

Kirden was born with brown hair and blue eyes and was raised Arethor for 16 years, he spent most of his time widdling wooden boats and sailing them in the water, he became a prodigy of widdling by 12 and had loving parents who cared for him dearly. He was well fed and grew to be a strong, buff lad, and didn't look that bad either. His father taught him that only gentlemen went far, and that you rarely get help from strangers. While his mother told him that there are bad people out there, and you can't make much friends without gaining a few enemies aswell. His younger brother, Jacob, was very interested in the ocean and sat on the dock watching the sun pass the horizon, dreaming of one day, being captain of a ship in the Oren navy.

When Kirden was 16 and his brother, Jacob, was 14, Kirden's mother, who became extremely sick, died from dehydration because of vomiting and the lack of fresh water. Also, Kirden's father was lost at sea and never returned, leaving Kirden and Jacob alone. He and his brother lived in the house in Arethor for the next few years. When he turned 19, Kirden joined the Arethor guard and easily managed to feed himself and his brother.

When Kirden turned 23, he heard about the new world and the amount of people going there, so he told his brother to pack his valuables and necessities because life in Asulon will soon be behind them. Since Kirden was in the Arethor guard, he was able to be above decks, and sometimes hid some food in his pocket and sneaked it down for his brother to eat. He widdled a replica of the boat they were on in his free time, it looked exactly like it. After the boat stopped at some islands and Kirden bought another house,and joined the gaurd there with his now 21 year old brother.

What are your characters ambitions?: To live a happy life with his brother close by him.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? As I enter Arethor, I notice a poor-looking dwarf trying to sell his wares. "Apples for 3 minas each!" he says. No one's paying attention to him so I think to myself I should go talk to that dwarf. So I wander up to him and ask what he's selling. "All the necessities you need! I have food, dyes, tools, all you need!" I remember that I'm in search of food. And even though his apples don't look the best. I feel sorry for him and buy a couple. "Thankyou kind sir!" He says, "Please come back any time you like!" I ask him if he has a family but he replies no. "I couldn't be able to keep a famly with the amount of money I make." He tells me,"I barely make enough to keep myself alive!" I tell him I lost my father and then my mother soon after. He feels truly sorry for me and gives me another apple for free. I tell him my name is Kirden and tell him I will come back the tomorrow.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I'm traveling along Oren road late at night, and I hear someone arguing. I look around and I notice an Orc threatening a Dwarf, it looks like it will soon turn to a fight so without thinking I walk over and ask what the fight is about, the Orc replies in Orcish, "This runt bumped me as I was passing along the road, and then he lied and said it was accidental, so I told him if he didn't apologise that I would pull his head out of his body, stick it on a pole, and make him watch me feed his limbs to the wolves." I then ask the Dwarf if it was accidental and he replies, "Yes! I was just running down the road because I need to get back to my wife, she's ill, and I accidentally bumped into this Orc and he thought I did it purposely." So I tell the Orc it's just a misunderstanding and he actually understands it and continues on his travels, I say goodbye to the Dwarf and then continue traveling aswell.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I notice a very old man with a walking stick. He looks very weak so I ask him where he's going, but as soon as I'm about to ask him, his walking stick breaks and he falls to the ground, a bag of minas falls aswell and splits open, I think to myself how easy it is to just grab those coins and walk away, but as my hand reaches for the coins, my father's words speak in my head. "Only gentlemen get far." So I pull my hand back, break a stick off the nearest tree, and help the man up, I walk with him for a bit, to make sure he's ok. "Ohh thankyou young man for helping a man like me." He says as I'm walking him. I ask him why he's walking on such a road like this, he replies, "I have no home now, I'm going to finish the rest of my life with the elves, with my old friend."
