I was looking for better roleplaying servers, and many websites on the internet have pointing me in the direction towards you.

Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is when you take the role of a character and become that character during the game. I believe that this makes the game more interesting and gives it more depth, to the game.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:

Meta-gaming is when the video gamer uses outside information that effects their playing and their actions in the virtual world. An example of this is reading about wizards in the Harry Potter books, then being able to name the names of spells in the Harry Potter virtual world and acting accordingly.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:It is when a player inside a virtual world, does something that another player has not agreed. For example, a player killing another player, or stealing items: Diamond sword, Iron Sword, Fish etc.

In-Character Details

Character Name: Gaelasel

Character Race: Elf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Gaelasel was born into poverty. Gaelasel’s parents were always buying expensive armor, houses and other luxury’s that they could not afford. They bought too many items, and went bankrupt eventually. Gaelasel’s parents were horrible and always eat all the food for themselves. They forced Gaelasel to work in the fields in the forests of Asulon where they lived. Gaelasel was abused constantly, but she was the only child was strong and brave. One day she had had enough and ran away from her parents. She went out into the public and survived the best she could in hope for a better life. She danced and entertained the other elves and was paid for it. She was happy to be still alive, but she wanted more to life, so she set out into the unknown world for an adventure that would change her poverty and life.

Gaelasel is strong and very brave. She has one downfall, her stubbornness that leads to successful battles as well as extremely stupid ones. Gaelasel is very tall (even for elves), and has long brown hair. She wears poor torn green clothes, but believes that an elves character is the most important. Gaelasel is at the prime of her life and wants to make the most of it.

What are your characters ambitions?:

Gaelasel’s ambitions are to live life to the fullest, always take risks, and to help others that are in the same position that she is.

Here it is, I put it on an attachment. :D It is the one that LotC forums (the elf female) had with a few changes that I made with MinersNeedCoolShoes.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: My character is very good with bows and a remarkable dancer. :D

Questions

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

My response is to help this poor dwarf to the best of my ability. I understand what position he is in and since he is poor, I will help him even though he is a dwarf. I will buy as many of his wares as possible.

What exactly happens:

Gaelasel: Hello there dwarfs.

Dwarf: Hello please helps me and buy from me please!

Gaelasel looks at his clothes and sees that they are torn up. Gaelasel realizes that this dwarf is in the same position that she is and decides right then and there to help him out.

Gaelasel: Its ok, I will help you. Here I will buy as much from you as I can and give you some food. I wish you luck in the world, and I am truly sorry about you poverty.

Dwarf: Thank you! Thank you! Bless you! You will not be forgotten.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

Gaelasel will fight in the battle because she will jump into any risky and daring situation. The fact that there is no help nearby is irreverent, that just makes it more interesting.

What exactly happens:

Gaelasel sees the orc.

Gaelasel: Hey orc! Why dont you try beating up somebody your own size?

Orc: GRRRR! You’re going to pay for this!

Gaelasel charges at orc, but the orc grabs her arm, and twists in in directions that are not normal. The orc breaks her arm. Gaelasel stumbles to the side and the orc punches her in the eye, giving her a black eye. Gaelasel charges at the orc again and makes him stumble hitting his head hard on the ground. While the orc is confused and on the ground, Gaelasel (half running half limping), grips the dwarf and rushes off.

The orc gets up of the ground and does not know where she went. The orc stumbles off after her in the wrong direction.

The dwarf, surprised and scared by all of this, passes out.

Gaelasel lays him down in a safe place and stumbles off for help for her wounds.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick, looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:

Gaelasel helps the character back up and hands him back the bag. She does this because she can relate and understand how he feels. She helps the man find his way back to where he is heading.

What exactly happened:

Gaelasel: Hello!

The man does not reply and instead falls to the ground when his stick breaks.

Coins spill from his bag as he fails to the ground completely helpless.

Gaelasel: Uh oh! Here take my hand.

Gaelasel helps the man up.

Gaelasel feels sorry for the man, and knows exactly how he feels, alone and poor.

Gaelasel gives the man the rest of his coins back.

The old man: Thank you!

Gaelasel helps the man back up and find his path.

Gaelasel vows to help people that are in a predicament like her.

- Power-emoting defenition is wrong

- Biography is too short and lacks server lore

- 2nd ORQ; Orcs don't speak common english, they speak blah and should do so in your ORQ (

Orc dictionary)

- 2nd ORQ contains powergaming, I doubt someone would still be able to charge at an orc after having her arm broken and taking a hit in the face

- 3rd ORQ is too short and lacks dialog
