History

Born on the last breath of Aegis, Iatrilemar had little comforts regarding family affairs. His parents Elessar and Natulciena fled the cities of Aegis, as the attacks of the Undead became more and more prevalent on them. Settling in a forest untouched by the hand of the Valah it was decided that this would be the place that Natulciena would bring Iatrilemar into the world. An elven birth was so rare in Aegis, let alone that of pure blood, that they couldn't have risked living in the shadow of Iblees. However with life comes death and Natulciena paid the ultimate price for the security of her child. Soon after birth she slipped into a sickness that would claim her life, while she might have lived if they had the proper medicines or healers. Elessar's life was also claimed by sickness within the first decade of his child's life but not before he would pass on the wisdom of the goddess Aeriel to his son. The loss of his parents would effect Iatrilemar's subconscious in some way and could possibly reemerge as some sort of mental illness later in his life.After living alone and fending for himself for half a decade Iatrilemar's lonely existence was paused by a nomad orc who found his way to the forest. The orc was mute and passive in his actions but for whatever reason he decided to stay with Iat, whether it be to protect him, or just because he was tired of being alone. The orc became a fatherly figure to Iat and is the prominent reason that Iatrilemar shows no racism or predejuce towards orcs. After a few years in the company of the mute orc the forest they inhabited was burned
and the orc slaughtered by the Undead. Iatrilemar was captured and became a slave for the Undead until he was inadvertantly rescued by the Ascended. After being saved he was reassured that Aeriel had called to him and vowed his loyalty to her however it wouldn't be to save the world only to repay a debt that he owed.

Iat soon escaped to the verge and then to Asulon where he began travelling again, searching for his calling. At first he was seclusive and refused to live in structured society. The first town he lived in was owned by a dark elf, named Isirack Rivenare, who would become a constantly friendly face in Iat's journey. The town name was Riverwood which was a ways north of Malinor and secluded from much of the world politics. Eventually the entire town was reintegrated into Malinor which forced Iat to move to Normandor. During his time in Normandor he started off working the farms before he took up the call for the Normandor guard where he would quickly rise in ranks and eventually be offered the title or High Commander. However due to his self-conscious, passive nature he would turn it down and instead embark on a journey for nearly a decade before the fall of Asulon. One of his favorite things about living in Normandor was his friendship with the High Princess at the time, Sythra.

Through his reintegration into the Mali'Aheral culture Iatrilemar has found complete balance in his life. He has come towards a neutral alignment because of the way he has learnt to process information. He sees life and death as natural processes. One may give or take life but one must always be conscious of their effect on the world. He doesn't act selfishly but he is also not selfless. He tends to be on a plain of existence where there is a pathway. A road of some sort that leads in a circle around a spectrum usually leaving him wandering about the epicenter. He feels emotions and he has "morals" but he owes nothing to anyone and it makes sense to him that each figure in the world should act solely based on their thought process and not allow others to cloud his judgement or influence him for better or worse.
