Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language? I was born in America, and lived there all my life as of yet. I also have a slightly above average vocabulary for somebody my age.

Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: I have played dungeons andd dragons for a long time, and have been in 4 different campaigns.

Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?: I have read and understood all of the rules, they are very fair and very good.

How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: I first heard of Lord of the Craft when I googled for “top 10 minecraft servers” I thought this server looked nice and looked into it more.

In-Character Details

Character Name: Doctor Equinox
Character Race: Human Southerner
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:.Equionox was born into a middle-class family. His father was a politician, and wanted him to be a politician too. But Equionox thought that politics were boring and dull, he wanted to travel around and adventure. But his father would have none of it. His father forced him into apprenticeship with a politician.

It was spring, and that was when all the travelling scholars came to the village. When they left, he snuck aboard one of the Caravans and left with them. But when the scholars found out that he was with them, they kicked him out and left him by the side of the road. He was completely lost by this time, and having never been taught how to survive in the wilderness, he was at a loss of what to do. In a matter of hours he began to feel hungry...

In about a week, he was almost dead, but he was found on the side of the road my a man named Serin. Serin nursed him back to full health in a matter of days, a deed which seemed impossible. He knew he could not survive on his own, so he asked Serin to help him get back home. Serin complied, but only on one condition. Equionox had to apprentice himself to Serin. Equinox agreed, and so Serin taught him new forms of medicine. By this time, they were far from his home, so he learned on the road. Near the end of his journy Serin told him that his apprenticeship was completed, and that he had only one more thing to do before claiming the title of Doctor. He had to swear the Doctor's Oath, which went like this:

“I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement:

To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art; and that by my teaching, I will impart a knowledge of this art to my own sons, and to my teacher's sons, and to disciples bound by an indenture and oath according to the medical laws, and no others.

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.

I will give no deadly medicine to any one if asked, nor suggest any such counsel.

But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.

I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art.

In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing.

All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal.

If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all humanity and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my life.” That was the Doctor's Oath.

A few miles away from his home, Serin anounced that he was going to turn back. He said that Equinox should have no trouble getting home, and that he needed to go home himself. But when Equinox got home, he found his parents sick with The Blood-Spot Plague. He tried and tried to cure them, but it was of no use. They were dead. His entire family gone, as well as most of his settelment, he swore it would never happen again, and began to wander around aimlessly, always trying to improve his medicene, and find a better cure.

What are your characters ambitions?: Equinox wants to be able to cure any wound. He nobody to ever die of disease again, but most of all, he wants to find happieness, he wants to see the world, he wants to find out why the gods made it so people must die, he wants to find why the gods made it so people live, he wants knowlage.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He is 54 years old, and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He weighs 180 LBS.

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? : I walk over to the dwarf, and see he is selling small rocks, bits of copper and iron, and some marble. He does not look healthy. I tell him he is too old to be mining, and that he is to sick to be out in a crowd like this. I give him a potion, saying “Here, take this, it will help.” I then give him some money, but do not take any rocks, they would only weigh me down.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? : I inquire as to why the Ork is upset at the Dwarf, in a friendly manner. The Ork tells me the Dwarf sold traded him some gold that was actually brass for his orkish dagger, and shows me some brass lumps. The Dwarf says the Ork is lying and that the Ork is just a mugger trieing to trick me. I suddenly ****** the holser off of the Dwarf's belt, there is an Orkish Dagger there. The Dwarf says he only had it for protection, but cannot explain why he did not use it to try to protect himself from the Ork, who appears to be unarmed. I make the Dwarf pay back the Orkish Dagger, and to ease the tension between the two, I give them both some gold.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do? : Equinox gives the man his own walking stick, and checks that he is not hurt, only veiwing the coins as a distraction. I make sure he is not hurt, and then inquire why he is out on this busy street, and why his son is not shopping for him. The old man, (who called himself Dan) says that his son is ill with Bo'dank, and that he is buying medicene for him, because the mother has died of old age. I tell him to bring me to his son, and Dan complies. I immediately smell the cheese-like smell of Bo'dank, so I give the boy some herbs, instructing him to eat 4 of them in hot water at every meal.
