Role-playing:
Role-playing is pretending to be someone else in a fictional world.  That means I have to improvise to a given situation.
Meta-gaming:
That’s using information that normally my character shouldn’t know. For an example the name plates above player heads. We simply have to pretend we don’t see them.
Power-emoting:
It’s a game of word to gain advantage. That’s simply playing a god. For an example: “Dorimlion scared him so much he couldn’t move.”

Full Name: Dorimlion Vilkas

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
         Dorimlion was raised in a cave. His parents were cave dwarves and they lived somewhere deep in a cave. His father taught him everything about smithing and mining. When Dorimlion was 14, he got lost in a mine. He was alone in a dark cave surrounded by dangers. But a proud dwarf doesn’t give up that easily. Dorimlion did his best to survive. Young dwarf did pretty well in a cave. He even managed to craft a stone sword. After  3 days of wandering in darkness he saw a light, the end of the tunnel. He has never seen something like this before. His parents have never taken him to the surface.  Nothing could stop a curious dwarf. Dorimlion was slowly moving towards the light. The light started to burn his eyes, but he didn’t stop. He was covering his eyes and he kept moving forward. And then he felt it – the fresh air, the sunlight on his skin. He opened his eyes and the view was amazing. That’s when he made his decision to become an adventurer. His life goal was to travel around the whole Elysium. It was getting darker. Dorimlion was very confused. He missed his parents very much. He tried to remember the tales his father told him. The tales about dwarven fortresses, the high kings and dragons. He told about great battles which took many brave dwarves, the hordes of undead taking dwarven lives and cities. The old dwarf used to serve in The Legion. His father especially missed Karik, the old dwarven capital in Asulon. Dorimlion suddenly felt tired so he lied down by the cave entrance and fell asleep. His parents were looking for him desperately since the youngling got lost. After 4 days of searching they found him sleeping at the cave entrance. A tired and hungry dwarf came back home and started to live normally again. But from now on he was visiting the surface regulary.
      Dorimlion continued his quiet life in a cave.He was helping his father every day. Dorimlion is 49 now. He decided to start traveling as soon as he turns 50.  The young dwarf can’t wait to see mighty dwarven strongholds or elven forests. The great adventure awaits!

Personality: Stubborn, patient, likes spending his time in company, he is open for new experiences.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

1.
Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: The dwarf really wanted to own that shiny diamond. Dorimlion slowly approached the stone bridge and he started inspecting it. The bridge looked solid so Dorimlion decided to take the risk. He made his first step – nothing happened. The he made the second one and the third one… He was half way there when suddenly he heard the stone bridge crack. The dwarf panicked and started to run. The whole bridge was falling apart. Dorimlion jumped and landed on the other side of the ravine. The diamond was his, but now he had to find a new way back.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: Dorimlion reacts quickly. He stands up and shouts “ ‘ey fellas! Have a drink on me!”. A real dwarf can’t refuse a mug of ale. The problem gets solved as everyone gets drunk. The shady dwarfs fell asleep and Dorimlion had to take care of the poor dwarf. He asked the bartender if there are any free rooms for rent. Luckily there was one left. Dorimlion paid for the room and led the poor dwarf to it.

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer: “But I already ‘ave one!” said Dorimlion, “Wait… Is it half empty already?! Ye’ ‘ave to give me another one!”. The bar-owner gave a mug of ale to Dorimlion and found one for himself. And the drinking began! Both dwarves drank and talked until it got late. “Nothing tastes as good as a mug of ale…” said the bar-owner, “That’s my only love sice I first tried it.” And Dorimlion said “We wouldn’t be dwarves without it. I think te’ first mug of ale is the most important moment of our dwarven lives…”

Even though your Biography was quite good, you need to include more Dwarven Lore. You did include some names but not enough. For example: Cave Dwarves do not just live in a 'cave' they build amazing cities underground and live in large settlements deep in the ground. Your Open Response Question need to display the role play method in them to achieve an accepted application. You need to set it out like this:

Edward looks around the Inn and notices a man tucked away in the corner -wearing black robes. He walks across the room towards the man before calling over "Oi You! Come over here!" The man looks up towards Edward and gasps before attempting to get up and flee.

 

You should set out your role play that and then we will know that you can control role play with your character and also know if you have the role-playing skills to obtain a place on our server. If you can do this method with every single Open Response Questions they will be at a closer to acceptable applications standard.
