History

Born into Imperial Royalty, Patrick could be considered very well off, and as normal, was despised at birth simply because of his name, regardless he had done nothing. He was innocent, and yet was accused of crimes he hadn't committed. At the age of 5, he saw his father hang himself inside the church, the sound of his father's neck breaking haunting him in his nightmares, and the memory relived countless times. He was fathered by his Godfather, and uncle Horen IV, a ruthless, cruel, skilled, and calculated father figure, and his Godmother Ari Hightower, a caring, stern, loving mother figure. Yet Horen IV had a soft spot for his nephew, maybe because his father was gone, or because he felt sorry. The reason in unknown, and he made sure Patrick grew up to be proud of who he was, and to remember who his father was. He was trained by Horen Iv in the art of the sword, quickly taking it up and learning, he had a mission to prove he was worthy, but never truly felt he deserved his name. His godmother, Ari Hightower loved Patrick like a son, being close to Patrick's father, Alexander, she felt it was only right to do. She didn't lightly punish him either, she was stern, firm, and instructed him properly, but always supported him when he needed. It was not long before Patrick saw Horen and Ari as his real mother and father, and calls Ari "mum" when he speaks to her, and sometimes calls Horen IV "da, father" or "dad" when it is not in a formal setting.

 

Patrick grew up fast, and hard, not being known for showing his emotions, but he was broken inside, he was old enough to remember Alexander dying, and his mind always wandered to it. He tried his best to holdup his birthright or the Duchy of Pruvia, and maybe he made a few strides, but it was all in vain, for he never felt he was personally a success. He never felt he did enough, and always felt worthless, no matter the cause.

 

Patrick is now a sullen, cold, and rather low figure, but still gives a soft smile, trying his best to cope, and carry on, his duty to his uncle to not squander his gift and have made his godfather's time a waste.
