Gather The Goldhands

 Share

Recommended Posts

A tired and young Hydrose climbs the steps to the great hold of Kalos. His beard has grown long, the singed edges finally gone. In his back pocket sits a Journal. Scrambled in each our notes for each of the companies he works for and will own. The first is VonSlitchten Co and the other the Western Wind Trading Co. As Hydrose nears the gates, he pulls the book out of his pocket and holds it delicate in his hand. Walking inside he peers around the surrounding in awe. Once inside he tells in a quizzical town " W'ere is Thoak?". Then in a more assertive sounding voice he tells " Gather the Goldhands, we 'ave something to discuss."

Thoak makes his way through the Dwarven Halls of Kalos as he hears the voice of Hydrose. Soon Thoak is at the entrance of the hold, and makes his way toward him. Thoak then folds his arms. "Wot be 'o oot lad. Wot de ye wish 'o tae Gold'ands tae meet?"

Hydrose turns to face Thoak and begins to speak "I came 'ere to talk wit ya' and tae others, if t'ere is others. I was 'opin we could make a deal. Recently I met a man by tae name of Abdul Mudbee. 'E and I decided to work out a business plan and open a company. "The West Wind Trading Co" and we are searchin for workers, captains, guards, blacksmiths, engineers, and many more people to fill position. I decided t'is would be a great c'ance for tae Gold'ands to bring the glory back to our clan name. It may come as a suprise to some, but we are a merchant clan, but it seems as of late, well the last few years, we 'ave nae been doing any merchanting. It appears as if we ditched clan values and so are our kin. 'Ave ya nae noticed, there is only few of us left! Either alot of our blood is dying or ditching tae family name. We need to bring back our values to bring tae others back"

Kayne is exiting the brothel, whistling a hardy ol' tune readjusting his cuffs as he spots Thoak and an un-familiar face of all, Hydrose

"Thoak, me frien'. 'ow are ye?"

Kayne stands in between Hydrose and Thoak, his hands resting on both of their shoulders

"W'ut be da occasion mates? Been a while since ah seen t'ree of meh famileh in da same conversation, har har."

Kayne lets out a short, sad chuckle

Hydrose turns to Kayne "Long time no see cous! Well, I was just telling Thoak 'ere that I 'ave noticed our blood vanishing left and right and that we need to bring back our clan values. I think I may 'ave found a way to do it too."

((Quickly done))
