Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:  Roleplaying is something I have done in games for years. I think it stretches the mind in imaginative ways. What you go changes the story and outline of what you do, whether you do good or evil, there is always something there that you can just redo, or restart because you messed up.
Roleplaying is where you have a character you play as, and become them for as long as you are on that game/server. The character has its own backstory and lore (that follows the covering lore that the server has). You and others online always speak in character and act as your character would.

Meta-gaming:  Metagaming is exploiting features outside of that game where you converse about in-game events outside of your character and the game through programs like TeamSpeak and Skype, and act upon that information in-game. It is used to bypass the rules that have been set out to affect gameplay, learning information about in-game characters and events in ways outside the game.
Power-emoting:  Power-emoting or powergaming is exploiting in-game features or mechanics to further the player or players ahead of others. Like acting in a way unrealistic, character's overpowering others in a fight where the other doesn't get a chance to react or is obviously stronger. I think that there is also a powergame where a character has 'perfect' attributes. In a way it is not 'sportsman' like. Characters that powergame don't help the server, and don't follow the lore well.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Ava
Current Age: 133
Sub-race (if any)  :   Dark Elf / Mali’ker
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):  Ava is a younger dark elf around 133 years old. She is a sad, shy girl, she feels lonely a lot of the time, even if she is usually in the company of her lover, Azel, or her daughter Rathina. Ava’s story starts out as she is a younger girl. When Ava was around the age of 35, she met a dark elf named Khel. Ava had a rough childhood, her step-father acted very abusive towards her, he was a human and a drunkard. Ava resented her step-father, but she had grown closed off and shy, she never spoke out to anyone ever. Ava’s real father died before she was born, she never knew who he was.

Six months before her 36th birthday, her mother died. At the time, Khel had been travelling through her town nearly daily, and had seen Ava  nearly every day when he passed through the homes around the town. Having not spoken to her much, he noticed how devastated and saddened she looked, when he came to a time of rest that day, he searched out for her, finding her by a solitary oak tree that grew large close to the river. The sun had long since gone down as it always was when his work was finished for each day.  Khel watched her from at a distance for about a minute, thinking on his own life.  He understood feeling alone, he understood her tears. He walked beside her and sat down, not saying anything. He barely knew this person but he knew that she needed a friend.  Ava, frightened by the new presence by her, curled a bit tighter, drawing her knees up to her face and burying her face in them, as if she could hide from the world. She did not say a word or move at all, but sat still, letting the tears roll off of her face.

Instead of asking the typical “what’s wrong comment” Khel asked her on her feelings of how the moonlight skims across the water illuminating it. He does so to distract her from the tears. He continues to comment on their surroundings, not mentioning the fact she is crying. Ava looks to him, wiping the tears from her face, she stares silently at him as he speaks, trying to judge his intentions, she thinks of what little she knows of him, and decided to trust him, listening as he speaks.

Khel never expected for her to talk. He stared off over the river, not really looking at her. He talked about his own life, his job, his small room in the inn, how he has seen her around the village. He commented on them both being of similar race, which was what made her stick out. Khel does this twice more with her as she attempts to find peace from her father by sitting by the river. Both times she remains silent, but he knows it means alot to her. He is just glad to have someone listen to him  On the third time he does this, Ava spoke for the first time, she had never said more than a few words to anyone of the town, but she spoke to Khel, she slowly drew up courage to speak of her life, although she avoided talking of how her step-father abused her, even though the evidence was obvious on her body. In return Khel shared something personal about him. The story of how his mother had fallen to her death. He went into detail on how he he saw her death.

They share moments like this for many more years, Khel becomes Ava’s only friend. she doesn’t ever share the fact her step-father beats her (even though Khel knows) until one day where she couldn’t stand the abuse he gave her, and decided to tell Khel everything. He shows sympathy and comforts her in a caring embrace. He then tells her that he is leaving the town (and has planned to do so for awhile) and she has seen what horrid things her step-father does to her. He asks her to come with him, promising he would watch over her and keep her as safe as best as he could. Ava looks at him, she feels insecure but attached as well. She thinks for a long moment on her situation and decides to accept his offer. She nods slowly and looks to her feet as she tells him she will go with him.

Khel tells her to meet him at the tree the next night with everything she wants to bring with her. Khel does the same and waits, sitting under the tree with the few amount of minas he has gathered and everything he finds value in. Ava returns shortly before the sun sets, bringing any minas she managed to find from her father, and some of her own items she treasures. They walk away into the setting sun, each of them pondering their future. Ava turns as they walk, looking a last time upon the town and the graveyard in the distance, a solemn tear rolls down her cheek as she steps closer to Khel and continues walking with him....

As time passed on, Ava and Khel grew closer and closer, they moved on to Normander where Khel took a job as a Sentinel. He was able to buy them a home and they lived together, Ava with her only friend. Ava decorated the small home some, and they lived for a while. Though Khel slowly grew distant and more obsessed with his job. Yet for some reason they still fell in love. Khel taught her what love was. Ava had never felt much outside of her sheltered life before. As the years go on, Ava begins to only see him nightly, never during the day, she remains oblivious to this however. Khel gets promoted quickly through the military, telling her of his feats.

As time keeps dragging on, she slowly feels the distance between them. But by this time she is pregnant with their child. Ava feels drawn to stay with the man who cared for her all these years. The man who showed her love and the man who brought her a child.

Only a few month’s after the child’s birth. Ava and Khel are forced to move with the rest of Malinor and Asulon as the storms approach. Ava sticks to Khel as best as she can in the chaos but as they near the boats they get separated. Ava with her child, Khel with some other group.

Time passed quickly, days drew to weeks, weeks to months, and even months on to a year. Ava was separated alone, she couldn’t provide for both of them well. So she starved mostly as she kept the baby girl alive and fed more than herself. Though one day she found upon the new Malinor settlement, and in turn she found Khel. . . (Which is where I will leave off)

Ambitions for the Future:  Keep her child safe with her love Azel
Personality: Though outlined fairly in the Bio, she is shy, and usually quiet around others, though she can talk comfortably with her loved ones. She often has a short temper when it comes to Khel, after what he has done to her. Khel’s left Ava alone most of their love-relationship, and even cheated around with other women.
Skills: Ava has a soft voice, and can sing well. She has a keen sense and watches things very closely, she has a distinctive motherly care.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

Any other details you wish to share about your character:   As of now she is in love with Azel Bloodseeker and stays with him on his lands. She cares for her daughter Rathina, and teaches her all she knows.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: Ava quietly watches the group from the edge of a tree. She frowns a little, noting the wood elf child and the group of high elves. She watches them as they insult and mock the small child. From the experience Ava has, she knows the high elves are mostly against violence and they won’t likely hurt the child physically. Ava waits a few more minutes, watching as the child cries. Ava closes her eyes tightly, not able to take much more of it she runs out from out of the tree. Running her full speed with teary eyes she scoops the crying child up and keeps running away from them. Her only thoughts to protect this child. As she feels safely away she sets the child down and calms him some, She might even sing which she does rarely to bring him down. After he is calmed she would help him find his mother or father and return him home.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: Ava’s eyes would widen at the sight. She would pause for a moment as she assess what she just saw. Seeing how defenseless he is she would help him sit up and check to see if he is alright. Finding him unconscious she would sit him upright against a tree and collect the scattered coin. Once she has picked everything up she returns to him and calmly waits for him to wake up. As he awakens she would explain the situation and return him his coins. Standing back up she’d retrieve his walking stick and help him back up. Asking where he might be headed she would help guide him safely to there.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: Ava cautiously approaches the carriage. She looks carefully at the strange man and is very distrustful of him. After a moment she lets her eyes gaze over his wares he offers to sell. She stares dissapointed with much of it until her eyes fall upon a gold and silver band. Simple yet knowing exactly what she could do with it, she shyly points to it.
The trader lets his eyes fall upon it and he brightens up cheerily, “Ahhh~ You want that ring?” he grins and takes it out and holds it for her.
Ava carefully takes it and studies it in her hands for a few moments and nods eagerly. “
Mhm, you have a good eye!” he pauses for a moment, “500 Minas!”
Ava frowns significantly, “S-sir.. I...I can’t d-do that..”
The trader frowns somewhat, “Ahh perhaps for you I can go 450...?” he offers cautiously
Ava shakes her head, “I...I can p-pay you.. 300, and..” she frowns and looks in her bag
The trader watches her with a careful eye as she does this
Ava produces a book and some iron, “I.. I have this Elven book and some iron..?” she offers them out cautiously
The trader looks them over carefully, “I...” he looks closer through the book, “Fine, this shall do, miss.” he takes the Minas and her trade offer, carefully handing her the ring.
Ava thanks him and smiles warmly to her new purchase as she quickly rushes off into the forest.
