The Elves Meet The Tribe - Part One

Preparations were being finalised as the Elves; High Prince Kolyat, Prince Khel and Prince Oceas sat in the Mustang's tent discussing various topics unknown to those outside of the tent. Large logs were placed in a pyramid and set ablaze as seating was arranged around the flames for the people not used to sitting on the ground. The Drel'Ulicithr; Kiowa'Setimika and Takala'Sahkonteic roped up a large cow, readying it for the feast.

 

"Brotherr, the beast is rready." says Takala'Sahkonteic as he ropes the beast to a stump in the ground. Kiowa responds with a nod, then turning to face his Mustang; "The cerremony is rready, Mustang"

 

They all took seat around the blazing flames as the moon began to rise in the skies. The ceremony began as the beast was taken to the Mustang. The Drel'Ulicithr nodded simulataneously in his direction. The Mustang replied almost immediately by delivering a fatal blow to the beasts neck, causing it to fall before the blazing fire.

"The Beast has fallen. Let it's blood be sprread" Said the two Drel'Ulicithr together.

 

Both reached into the wound and doused their hands in blood, dragging them across the earth until meeting at the other side.

 

"The blood of the beast has been sprread"

"The spilling of the blood rreprresents the marrkings on the Mustang"

"The blood the Mustang has shed in orrderr to prrotect his trribe"

 

Both return to the Mustang as they reach for the extremeties of the beast. Once more they nod towards the Mustang. He delivers by lifting the beast and throwing it into the flames with the help of the Drel'Ulicithr.

 

"The beast is burrning, the flames engulf it"

"The flames rreprresent the jourrney to the Grreat Spirrit"

"Jourrney frrom ourr lands to sit beside the Grreat Spirrit"

 

Both pull out their ceremonial scimitars and begin slicing pieces of meat off of the bottom of the beast, wrapping it in cloth and handing it out to their guests.
