So I understand that 12 IRL days is equivalent to one IG year. However, I was wondering; does your character's age increase, even when you aren't actually playing? Just needed a bit of clarification.

Absolutely. Just because you aren't on your character doesn't mean your character's life pauses. The world is always playing, and IC your character is still there.

Age your character however you see fit. I personally don't want my character to go through the prime of his life in the matter of an IRL season.... so, I set my own aging time. It's your character, do with him what you'd like.

You aren't required to age your character. It's your character and your creation. I've had my character a year and she's still aged 20. What you shouldn't do is run around as a 200 yr old human.

I really hope a date plugin is added to make it easier to age your character and plan things, though.

Well, I began my character at age eight, and I am aging him at the official speed. I believe it is more than enough time using this system because if your human lived the average lifespan (approx 80 years) that would be 960 IRL days, or about 3 IRL years.
