[Closed] Fjarriauga Recruitment Thread

((It's that time of the month again~

The Fjarriauga (frost witches) are looking for more players to join our ranks , so I'm creating this thread for those interested in volunteering. If you're here - great, that probably means you think you might be up to it. However, before we get started there's a couple of things I consider minimum requirements for becoming a frost witch -

• You'll need to be very familiar with our lore (there may be a test ^.^).
• Obviously you need to have a female character to undergo the transformation. I'd prefer that this be an already existing character, not one created for the sole purpose of becoming a frost witch.
• You need to be willing to write a VA for at least 2ab, 3b and 4a
• You'll also have to be willing to write an MA and take the time to learn magic properly.
• You need to be able to keep in-character secrets ^.^
• Be ready to give up romantic/relationship RP (if that's your cup of tea). From experience, I can tell you it just doesn't work and creates too many OOC issues. We don't want frost witch housewives running around.
• Having a good standing in relation to bans and strikes will definitely help.
• Last but not least, maturity, a good attitude and being willing to lose are all very important.

If you think you meet all the above criteria, please make a post in this thread expressing your interest and with a bit about your character, please. After talking about it amongst the other frost witches, those of you we think could make good additions to our coven will recieve a PM from me, and we'll discuss your character as a potential recruit. I'm going to be quite picky here, so I may want to conduct a brief interview and possibly a role-play session to help me decide, so be prepared for either (or both~) of those as well.

I hope this all doesn't sound daunting, but I want to be careful to keep frost witches a unique group of villains. Being a frost witch can be a lot of fun, but playing such an unusual character isn't for everyone. But don't be intimidated, we're quite a friendly group of people out-of-character, and we're looking forward to welcoming new members to our coven.

Edit: Just so you are aware, I expect any new frost witches to be played as long-term main characters, not a side character for when you're bored. I want to keep the coven filled with active players, not inactive alts.

Just going to add in here that your character doesn't need to have a sob story or backstory of villainy to be considered. Yes, falling into despair and sorrow is what triggers the curse, but that doesn't mean they need a tear-stricken backstory already. As long as they have a reason for the despair that could trigger the curse in the near future, that's fine.

And they don't need to be horrible villains already. Several of the frost witches were innocent women before they were cursed, but became villains out of necessity to survive as a frost witch.

There are some other documents as well I believe but I do note know where the links would be, but as long as you familiarize yourself with the wiki page (yes it is dated but the basic info is there), then I would say that would be good enough for OOC knowledge.
