In-character Information

Full Name: Glorinel Kalelyn

Age:21 (Elvish years)

Sub-race: High elf

History and Past: Glorinel was born on the outskirts of

Haelun’or. His parents used to live in Haelun’or but their home was destroyed

in an orc raid. For this reason Glorinel grew up with a hatred of orcs and their

foul play. After completing high school Glorinel traveled to ArmaLuna. After

hard work and good grades his application to its collage was accepted. While in

collage Glorinel got his first real taste of Elvish culture. Poets gave him a

more surreal view of life. The muscians helped him understand the deep troubles

going on throughout his life. When he got out of collage he came home to find

his family dead. Completely distraught he vowed to avenge the deaths and find

out what happened. Years went by, still Glorinel could not find the answers.

His fortune changed when he heard Elvish soldiers talking. He had heard an Orc

raid ravaged the city and many were killed. After hearing this, something

snapped in Glorinel. He frequently went on raids on Orc villages. Remembering

hearing the poets and musicians at the collage he realized this was pointless.

When he realized he could have been payed to do the same thing, he made a goal

to join the Elvish Army.

Ambitions:Find a wife and join the Elvish Army

As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of

whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High

Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

 

Glorinel walks up and asks “What are  you doing?”. The high elves responded with a

shaky “Umm saying hello” Glorinel has a stern look on his face and doesn’t

believe them. “Listen, I saw what you all were doing, so don’t lie” The elves’

faces turned red and tears welled up in their eyes. Glorinel walks over to the

small elf, who was hiding in a corner. “It’s okay buddy they won’t bother you anymore”

The wood elf responded with “Thank you” Glorinel asked everyone to come to him.

“Does anyone want candy?” he asked. The boys responded with a loud “Yes!”

 

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across

a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to

the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold

coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway.

The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

 

Glorinel sprints over to the old man who is gushing with blood. “here you are sir” Glorinel says after retrieving the gold coins. As the old man gets up, Glorinel sees him stop. Something pale appears in the man’s eyes as he falls over. “Oh my!” Glorinel says. Quickly pulling out his medicine kit, which all elves have. With his arm sweating like crazy he calmly tries to

bandage up the old man’s wounds. While bandaging them up an arrow whizzes by

his face. With catlike Elven instincts he pulls out his bow and fires. He hears

“Ahh!” and can feel his fingers throbbing from shooting the arrow. After his

encounter with the bandit Glorinel comes to the old man. “Please help me” He

says timidly. “Guards! Guards!” Glorinel screams. Glorinel hears the heavy

boots come down the pathway. “What has happened” the guard says. “Well he was

walking and he fell” Gorinel responded. The guards carried him off and Glorinel

became worried sick. A few days later the old man was okay, As a reward

Glorinel was given a beautiful gemstone. He later found that the gemstone was

his family’s heir.

 

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come

across a  small clearing in which a

colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over,

telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about

everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your

character do? (Please include: - item, haggling for prices and the discussion

involved)

 Glorinel inspects the wagon, nothing catches his eye. At the back of the wagon something shiny catches his attention. "Wow, it’s a cracked steel sword"

Glorinel says this without much interest. "I can find something

better" Glorinel looks at pocket and sees 20 Minas. He quickly looks and

the price tag. "23 Minas!" he exclaims. The shopkeeper comes over to

look at it "Yeah, that product hasn't caught many people’s attention"

he said. "Well then certainly you could lower it" Glorinel said. The

shopkeeper thinks and says "Fine, 15 Minas" the shopkeeper said with

dismay. "For that piece? Seems overpriced" Glorinel said. "Look I’m

trying to make a profit" The shopkeeper said. "you’re not making

anything overpricing it" Glorinel said feeling smart. "FINE, 12 Minas,

but that’s final" the shopkeeper said. "I don’t know" Glorinel

says "How about 10" Glorinel pays the Minas and walks off. Later at a practice facility he finds out its and ancient elvish blade worth 500 Minas.
