Kanrath 190 Share Posted March 12, 2013 *On a branch above in one of the trees at the edge of Malinor, Tenshar sits and watches the crowds of elves, secured in his perch by a climbing harness he had designed one day while trying to cut a jungle tree. As watches the elves argue and debate and name call and insult he cannot help but once again wonder if he got lost and found himself in Salvus. Clearing his throat he shouts down to the elves* "I see Salvus is as lively as ever, or wait, is this Mailinor? A malinor which claims to hold the greatness of the nation of old Ageis yet argues like human children? An outsider would only wonder as you argue and insult and name call, and yet you ask yourselves why things happen as they do? It is because your very nature is that of inaction, of debate and argument, while only action will solve this problem. Not the action of blade and steel on flesh but that of voices loud and strong, of a voice that will drown out the foolishness of those blinded by their own greatness." "Here you argue and debate while beyond these woods on a desert and in a mountain and on a field dogs of war nip and bite and howl for your very throat, salivating for the fires of war and the stench of death. And soon their masters will release them and they will come to here to these woods to take your women and children and turn them but to slaves and wenches for the dogs lords and masters while their masters watch this very place burn to ash and cinder." "And why is this?" "Because you reek of fear of weakness, because you stand divided, not like the trunk of a strong oak but like a weak branch just waiting for a powerful wind to come and throw it to the ground, and this world is full of powerful winds. I may not have lived as long as you, but I have fought many a battle, seen many a place fall to the dogs of war and every time the reason is the same." "Malinor, you are weak, you are divided. I give you this warning now, stand together under your High Prince or fall, just another dead leaf on the pile of leaves that have fallen before you." "And to you, High Prince of Malinor, you should know well that Malinor has always stood strong only by the strength, will and skill of their High Prince. Either find that within yourself to lead them and banish their worries, or decide that Malinor is best served by another during this time and step down as others have before you." "Your duty is to serve Malinor, self interest has no place in your position. And if any of you ask who am I to judge, I once lost my home because of the weakness and doubt it's king held, do not be like the Alras before the dwarves, sold out because their new king had only self interest at mind." *As he swings down from the tree and walks off into the woods once more, his final words can be heard shouted back to them* "Native would cry if he saw you now, Malinor" ((It would not be hard to catch up to Tenshar, as he is just walking as normal))
