Full Name: Gorne
Current Age: 3 1/7 seasons (22)
Sub-race (if any):Forest Dwarf
Clan (if any):
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Gorne was born into a family of 12, including himself and his parents. They lived in a large hut at the base of a mountain in Kal'Karik. The living was cramped, and uncomfortable. Gorne never separated himself from his mother, who he viewed as a wonderful woman, and role model. Gorne passed his first season, never leaving his mother's side. By his fifth year, he was helping her prepare meals, wash the rags they called clothing, and even tucking in his older siblings. After his first season, they expanded their living space. Not the hut was more of a long hall, where they could sleep ing comfort, and eat at a longer table. Gorne was truly happy, he didn't even care about not having a clan, or family name. That would come to haunt him, though.

Once he got into his second season, his mother had another child. This new sibling was different. She was a girl. Gorne, now more matured and independant from his mother, had never known another dwarf of the opposite sex. He felt attatched to his sister, and became a sort-of protector. His father was a miner, and was often gone from home for days at a time. His mother was always extremely busy. She had not time to raise Gorne's new sister. He cared for her for her entire first season, and she grew like Gorne did: attatched. She was over-dependant, and couldn't do anything on her own. One day, after Gorne's lumberjack training, he exploded at his little sister. He was annoyed that she had to have his help for everything, and he yelled at her. She ran off crying into the woods to the south. Gorne was still angry, he didn't even wonder where she was for hours. He was awoken from his anger by her screams.

Gorne, all annoyance left his mind. Without thinking, he grabbed his axe, and left the clearing. As the sounds got closer, Gorne realized he had no fighting ability whatsoever. Even if he did get there in time, he wouldn't be able to kill anthing. Before he even made a final decision. He saw his sister through the brush, on the ground, and crawling away from an unknown assaliant. Gorne then saw it was a wolf. No, not hungry, but provoked. His sister saw Gorne, and for a second, was sad again. Then she snapped back to reality. "Gorne, 'elp me!!!" she yelled. Gorne had no idea what to do, so he just swung his axe. Somehow, he hit the wolf. The wolf flinched, and it bared it's teeth at Gorne. Gorne yelled at his sister to run. She saw her opportunity. She got away, but the wolf was now attacking me, I had to fall back. The wolf kept jumping forward, and I kept jumping back. Just then, an arrow hit the wolf. A forester stepped out, bow in hand. "You should be more careful, young one. Wolves are not to be trifled with," he said. He saluted Gorne, took the wolves corpse on his shoulders, and left. Gorne never saw that kindly stranger again.

Gorne grew up, building muscle, chopping lumber to sell. He lived happily, almost contented. As I stated before, the fact that Gorne belonged to no clan would come back to haunt him. That time was right then. Gorne began to resent it. He never knew anyone powerful, or important. Gorne wanted a large family. Cousins, uncles, aunties, grandfathers, grandmothers, the whole deal. That's why he left home. To find a large family...or to start one.
Ambitions for the Future: To make enough coin to eek out a living in Asulon.
Personality: Gorne is friendly enough, but can be sort of cruel, in a way, with jokes or tomfoolery. He is borderline back-stabbing when it comes to deciding between wealth, and friends. Seemed to his parents he had a bit of cave dwarf in him.
Skills: He is especially good with his axe. He can chop down trees well, and uses that to get money. He can speak well, though illiterate. He is a good "housewife" in the sense of the term. (Cooking, cleaning ect.)
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): A bit tall for his age, dark green eyes, forester clothing. Unusually blonde hair. (screenshot too big to upload)
Any other details you wish to share about your character: He has always wanted a pet baby sheep, and he hates deep water.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: The sight of the diamonds gives a hunger to my eyes. I forget what I was there for, and begin crossing, not even thinking. About halfway through, I snap back to normal. I realize i'm in the center of this cracked bridge. I know forest dwarves are not know for their greed. I wonder what possesed me to do something that may just jeapordize my life. I step a bit 'till i'm sure I can leap it. I take the jump, and land on the other side. I approach the diamond ore. And just then, remember. I have no pickaxe.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: My eyes widen when I see the dagger. I stand up, pushing the table over to display my strength. (It's a pretty large and heavy table.) The two shady ones look over, and the one resheathes his dagger. He sayss in an innocent tone (Hoy, mate. We di'nt mean no harm.) They back away. I see a flash of gratitude in the young boy's eyes as he slides under the table to hide.

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer: I have never had alcohol before, and I never plan on having it. My father mined drunk, and nearly died many times. "Apologies, mate. I never drank an ale, 'n I don't plan to," I call in reply. The bar-owner has disowned the grin and is now looking at me with contempt. "C'mon then. I could get ye somethin' else?" He askes. Come to think of it, I was rather hungry. I hand over three minas. "Pork chop, please," I say. He slides over a crude wooden plate with a surprisingly delectible looking slab of meat on it.
