This is about the fifth time I've tried this so I hope it works... I just need to add a note that I could not put a picture of me in, so I will try on Minecraft Forums,

North American Eastern Time Zone.

Have
you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

What
previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I haven't done
roleplaying in minecraft before, but I know a lot about it, mostly
because I am in a role-playing club for the anglo-saxon period in
real life.

How
did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I was on Youtube, and
a video of a wedding on your server popped up on the suggestions bar.
I looked at it, and thought that your server looked different from
others, so I looked you guys up.

any applications that you have previously made for the server: None.

Have
you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then
please do so (link above): By the time you are reading this, I will
have.

Have
you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and
follow it in your biography?: Yes

Definitions

In
your own words define the following terms. Do not take any
definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:
Where you create a character, and you play and act on the server as
your character would act.

Meta-gaming:
Using something from a different source to base a game off it.

Power-emoting:
Telling people what you are doing in the game.

In-Character
Information:

Complete
the following biography on your character:

Full
Name: Lostariel Mithalu

Current
Age: 162

Sub-race
(if any): None.

Past
/
History
(include
childhood,
major-events,
etc.
2+
paragraphs long):
She is an orphan. Her father died from an Enderman attack before she
was born, and her mother fell ill and died a month after she was
born. A friend of her parents' took her to a small jungle island he
usually went to, so he could raise her and train her to be a warrior.

When
she was 150 years old, she finally finished her training. She made a
boat, and sailed off the island, with a promise that she would
someday come back. She kept sailing until she found land, and uses
the skills her guardian taught her everyday.

Ambitions
for
the Future:
To be the greatest elfess warrior.

Personality:
She can get deadly when fighting mobs/enemies, but she is also very
kind and social, and even gentle when she wants to be (which is a
lot, unless she's fighting)

Skills:
Is good at protecting people, has a beautiful singing voice, and is
good with enchanting.

Appearance
(this
must include an in-game
screenshot of your skin):
Gold hair, fair skin, aquamarine eyes. She wears earthly/nature
colors when she is formal, but when fighting, she wears black to
relatively blend in with night... plus, black always looks epic. I
must add a note that I couldn't do F1 while taking the picture, so
that's why you see the chat bar and inventory.

Any
other details you wish to share about your character:
She is an Ear'quessir, or a sea elf, so she loves water, and has a
strange attatchment to nighttime (no-one knows if it's because she
can fight mobs, or she just likes the night.) Due to her being a sea
elf, she doesn't kill squid unless for a very good reason, and she
doesn't see why people kill them for no reason. She does NOT like
going into the Nether, she only goes there to quickly get any brewing
supplies she might need (unless she buys/trades for them). Her fears
are Endermen and Wither (but mostly Wither), but she doesn't even
fear Herobrine. She perfers to build or fight than to mine, but she
does sometimes. She REALLY hates zombies, not in the fear sense, but
in the kill sense.

Open-Response-Questions

Each
question in
this
section must be answered with
a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event
in
full.
Please
be as
descriptive as
possible and
do
not
break
character or
lore at any point.

1.
As
you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering
and
snickering.
Upon
inspection you realize that a group
of High
Elves
are mocking a small Wood
Elf
child.
How
do
you react?

Answer:
Elves? Mocking an innocent elf child, on the brim of tears? This was
disgraceful! Before they could harm the poor thing anymore, I ran in
front of him (I'm going to make the child a him), and screamed “STOP
THIS!” The high elves eyes glared into me, but I did not fear in
the least. My guardian had trained me for such things. “Who are you
to get in our way? A peasant elleth, no doubt!” The tallest one
sneered. “I am Lostariel Mithalu. I am one of the few Ear'Quessir
that still roam Middle Earth, and I have been trained to be a
protecting warrior, and I shall not give this child in to the torment
you are giving him.” I warned them in a low voice. I could feel the
child's trembling hands grasp onto my midnight-black tunic, but I did
not avert my eyes from the elves. Whether they were high or not, I
was going to end this. “If you want us to stop, you shall have to
force us too!” another said, walking up to me, and hurling his fist
at me. SMACK! My fist stopped it with hardly any effort or pain. “Did
I not warn you I had been trained? Or did I not tell you I was
trained for 150 years?” I smirked. Then the others tried to attack
me with their fists – I blocked them all with my fists, my belt
containing my sword, and my bow (It was at that time I was pleased
with myself for making it out of very sturdy wood). When they
realized it did not work, they tried to reach out to the child and
grab him. In a flash, I whipped one of my new arrows into the bow,
and pulled back, ready to fire and any second. “I only use these on
evil. Do not make me let go!” I growled. They all froze at the
sight of my sharp weapon. One of them decided to make a chance, and
go for the child again. I let loose. It flew right by his ear,
whistling as it went, and hit the tree behind him. Exactly where I
wanted it to go. “That was a warning. I will not miss next time.”
I glared at them all. This was enough to make them all scatter. I
placed the arrow on my bow into my quiver, and swung the bow unto my
back. I kneeled down to the child, and asked him “Are you hurt,
little one?” He just nodded, his eyes wide open. “I am sorry you
had to see that. And I'm sorry I could not stop them earlier.” I
apologized. He hesitated, and said “At least they are gone.” I
smiled and asked “What is your name, little one?” “Tawarthion.”
he replied. Tawarthion. He was a wood elf alright. “Tawarthion, can
you lead me to your home?”

“Yes,”
he replied. “It's not far from here – I just came out to play.”
I stood up, and took his hand. “When you come to play, bring an
adult with you, ok?” He nodded, and keeping his hand in mine, he
started to walk north, and I followed him.

2.
Whilst
wandering through the Elven
forests you come across a frail old man with
a walking stick.
He
collapses in
front of you,
falling to the ground with
a sharp thud.
Out
of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins,
which hits the ground and
splits open spreading coins across the pathway.
The
man lies there,
defenseless -
what do
you do?

Answer:
Coins were everywhere. Gold coins, too. The man could only look up
with a fearful and pained look on his face. Quickly, and before
anyone could see these coins, I took out one of my brown leather
pouches, and picked up each and every coin as fast as I could move. I
dropped them all into my pouch, and as gently as possible, I lifted
the old man up, wrapped his hand over his walking stick, and gave him
my leather pouch. “Here. I picked them all up.” He looked at me
with a tired face, yet glowing with relief. “Bless you, kind lady.”
He stammered. Just then I heard a familiar voice yell “Lostariel!”
I turned my head to see a dark-haired elfess in a simple sky blue
dress walking towards me. It was Melawen, a dear friend I met on my
travels. “Vedui',
mellonamin!” (Hail, my friend!) I greeted her. “It has been
awhile. Are you alright?” she ran to me. “I am fine, but this man
isn't. You told me you had skills with healing – can you take care
of him?” I asked her. “Of course.” She nodded. She took the
man's free hand (I had put the bag of money in his pocket), and
helped him to a standing position. “I'm still traveling to a nearby
town, but I shall come soon and visit you.” I told her. “Until
then.” she smiled, and she walked slowly off with the old man, and
I strode north to the town.

3.
Whilst
traversing the Elven
Woodlands,
you come across a small clearing in
which a colored carriage sits.
A trader stands outside of it and
calls you over,
telling you of his wares.
He
points out
that his carriage sells just about everything,
and
that he's
willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do?
(Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion
involved).

These
woodlands were indeed fair, as a group of humans had told me. But, it
was not as fair as that wonderful island... nothing was as fair as my
home. I kept on walking, until I noticed a clearing in the woods. In
the middle lay a red and gold carriage, with markings of different
colors on it. On the from seat of the carriage lay a human man,
dressed in green and white – I wondered if he was trying to make
himself look like a wood elf. As soon as he saw me approaching, he
called out to me. “Hey, lassie! Where are you headed?” Strange –
I had once been called Lassie when I stayed in a village last year,
as a shortened term of my name. But he didn't look familiar...
perhaps he called all girls that. “Only for a walk, stranger. Why
do you ask me?” I asked in a reply. He smiled and said “My
carriage sells just about everything, but I haven't come across many
people recently.” “That is strange.” I remarked, because from
what I heard, many elves visited these woods. “I'll be willing to
bargain with you for a price on an item! Well?” He asked eagerly. I
had a lot of supplies with me already, so I wasn't sure... but then
again, I could always use brewing supplies. It would save me another
awful trip to the Nether.

“Do
you sell magma cream, stranger?” I asked. His face broke into a
smile, and he said “Yes, in fact I do!” He pulled out a
medium-sized white box, with a label containing the words “Magma
Cream”. “This contains about 7 lots for brewing. What are you
willing to pay for this?” he asked. “I will pay you ten enchanted
arrows, fire power enchantment.” I offered. He shook his head.
“30.” My face fell. I didn't really want to sell a lot of these
arrows... they are quite precious. “15?” I tried.

“25.”
he said. I couldn't do 25. I had to throw something else in. “20,
and an emerald.” I said. “Make that three emeralds.” he
replied. “Done.” I shook my head. He gave me the box full of
magma cream, and I placed it down by my feet while I pulled out 3
glistening emeralds from my bag, and retrieved 20 arrows from my
quiver, and handed the lot to him. His face changed, and he said “Oh,
I didn't want to take your defenses!” “Do not worry, I still have
10 left, and I also have my sword.” I assured him.

“Well,
if you say it's alright.”, he took the arrows and emeralds from my
hands, and placed them in his cart. “Thank you, stranger. Good
luck with your selling.” I nodded, and walked off. I had yet more
to see of this woodland.

Reviewing..

DeniedApplication3V2.png

Please wait a full 24-hours before reapplying or you will face an instant denial.

Reasons:

1. Your meta-gaming and power-emoting definitions are incorrect. You may use the forums or google for help, but don't directly copy and paste anything.

2.  Expand on the biography. What happened in those 150 years? Add more detail into it. Also, being an orphan is a cliche on LoTC. If you could think of something more original, it would be appriciated.

3. You have no server lore in your biography, please add some in. You can look on the wiki here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=HomePage

4.  You are not permitted to be a mage via your application. (you must learn IG through RP). This is in response to being an 'enchanter'

5. You cannot go into the nether on LoTC nor are there sea elves, please read up on the lore. There are also no withers or herobrine.

6. In the first open response question you mention middle earth. Please read up on the lore, as this does not exist. There is also powergaming in this ORQ. You cannot be that skilled with a bow, nor can you deflect every attack and not feel pain to a punch. Please read up on the definition of power-emoting.

7. In the second open response question your character speaks a language that is not accepted lore on LoTC. Instead, you can use LoTC elvish. (Some of it is mentioned on my guide on elves, there is a link in my signature)

8. In the third open response question, as stated above, you cannot have enchanted items unless you obtain them in-game through roleplay. There also isn't magma cream, and as stated above you cannot go to the nether as it was RPly sealed.

Message me if you have any questions or need any help.
