Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!: Role-playing: the act of taking a role of something/someone in which you’re usually unfamiliar with and acting out it. It also encompasses changing someone’s behavior to assume a role. however- role play has multiple different strands of it self, for instance it could be you fabricating a new fresh world your self, or being emerged into a pre-made world and acting out. Meta-gaming: when someone’s talking in OOC and tell there cords, but even though it’s OOC you still go the position when you’re in game character in unaware of it. Power-emoting: power gaming, so for instance I’m fighting with someone and before I get a chance to do anything they say *cutting off your head* so it’s sort of impossible for you to win. In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Craig Storm Mathtism Current Age:22 Sub-race (if any): Halfing Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Craig Storm Mathtism is 22, he grew up in a home colored with red and blue, he was adopted by two parents coined Mulk and Gore. Mulk and Gore were the perfect picture of charity, they were rarely seen drunk, and always making rounds around the village helping those that need it, their charity ranged from helping a neighbor cut down a tree to saving and extinguishing a raging fire about to consume a home. At the age of 15 Craig Storm Mathtism had trouble living up to their credibility. Craig had no such desire to be as charitable as them, his lust at this age were to travel the seas, he eventuality gained a job operating “The Salty Salmon” on Tuesday’s he would carry visitors to the Cloud Temple Docks, than have a picnic on the side of the Cloud Temple, and return home before dark. Craig didn’t aspire to have companionship, however he would never turn down those who wanted to join him. The Cloud Temple was one of his fondest memories, although it is hard for him to recall why he enjoyed this place so much, due to the fact that he always packed a drink to quench his dwarfren thirst. At the age of 20 Craig moved out of his birth home, he left Mulk and Gore Mathtism alone to enjoy the rest of their years together <3. Craig has a thing for the natural beauty of The Vale, he enjoys the serenity of the Halfling culture. Craig loves to write books and loves it even more when one of his Halfling brethren read his work and like it. Craig is infatuated with the Void although he knows next to nothing about it, when he was 8 a human wandered through the Vale and told him tales of woe of the Void. Craig holds farming in a extremely allegorical way, he feels as if it’s symbolic of the universe. Craig resides currently in Branborugh. Craig is petrified of the “River Monster”. Craig Storm Mathtism is a very accepting Halfling, to dwarfs from High Elfs. However the one culture Craig cannot handle is the Orcs, he holds them as a vile race and will often reference his hatred for them through his literature. Craig believes patience is a virtue and frowns upon the “needy”. Craig reserves his pity for the illiterate however is noted for teaching others how to comprehend literature. Because of this redeeming quality Mulk and Gore remain proud of him. Craig has not fallen in love yet, and tends to question the theory behind romance novels, he vowed to himself that once he sharing loved with another Halfing he would fabricate a romance novella. Ambitions for the Future: Wants to travel to the Elven capital and visit certain wonders of the world by boat, once completed he wishes to find a wife and settle down. However with most rebellious teens they leave their hatred behind along with their immaturity, Craig kept his hatred although he will never show it to them, he is only two faced to Mulk and Gore. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? Answer: Craig does nothing ignoring the sinister figure, and continues walking. Craig’s thoughts: “why should I get involved with the human’s war, they brought it upon them selves and us Halflings have no squabble in it, if Humans dabble with Humans and Halflings dabble with Halflings than their will be no adversity. 2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react? Answer: Craig’s thoughts: They are both heavily armed, this man obviously isolates him self, and most likely did not do anything to provoke these men, his time of aggressiveness has passed and deserves peacefulness, One halfing fighting two fully armed Humans will not stand a chance, the most I can do is find someone that can aid this man. *I sprint to the closest guard outpost and notifies them of the unfortunate misgivings of the old man.* Craig’s thoughts: They are both heavily armed, this man obviously isolates him self, and most likely did not do anything to provoke these men, his time of aggressiveness has passed and deserves peacefulness, One halfing fighting two fully armed Humans will not stand a chance, the most I can do is find someone that can aid this man. 3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens). Answer: Mercent: you there, Halfling see anything that catches your dwarf blood’s attention? Craig: that *points to the book* Mercent: 60 minas but for you, and sense we share a halfing nature- 50 minas Craig: aye’ but lassy, you see you and I share the same livein’ and you and I both know they go for 40 minas (knows the price on a average book is 55 minas, however the mercent is looking to sell out and will take what he get) Mercent: you certainly do not dress the same as your livein' than. Craig: did i say livein'? i meant hobby, excuse my brew tongue. ALL THE LESS THOUGH, 40 minas Mercent: you drive a hard bargain there brother, but ey’ accept your terms. Craig: aye, very good- but there is one more item that catches my eye Merchant, What is that quail over their *points* Mercent: *spins around on his heels and fumbles a bit with the quail than grasps it with his pudgy fingers* Craig: * while the mercent grabs the quail from under the shelf, steals a shiny ring* Mercent: 14 minas for the quail. Craig: DEAL! That’s a steal, if I may say so ma’ self. I'll let it slide as it was one simple instance. We have moved from Asulon to Anthos, the halflings live in Lenfarthing now. I'll let this pass because it's not on the WIKI.
