The Rangers

About Us:

 

The Rangers are a force of combined Ranger guilds including the Rangers of Adunia, the Rangers of the Forest, and a few Pheonix Rangers. We currently hold land north of Ager hidden in the swamp. The Rangers are trained for many years until they become full-fledged masters. You are required to use 1 melee weapon and 1 ranged weapon. If you do not have one, you will be trained with one. Melee weapons include but are not limited to the sword, spear, mace, axe, and shield. Ranged weapons include but are not limited to the bow, the throwing knife, and the  throwing axe.

 

The Rangers are given housing and supplies for their services.  Currently, they join Oren in the fight against the elves. They are at war against the rebel Adunian clan Campbells as well as a barbarian race called the Rhodirs. It is dangerous work and filled with adventure. You aren't promised you will live, but you joining will improve your chances at survival.

Rules:

 

1. No killing or stealing from a fellow Ranger.

 

2. Follow orders from a commanding officer. Rangers are not officers, but they are to be listened to for advice. If they ask a conscript or initiate to do something it is well advised they do it.

 

3. As a Ranger, you are an example of the name. Do not diminish it.

 

Ranks:

 

Captain

 

The Captain is commander of the Rangers. His orders are to be followed. It is the Captain's responsibility to overlook the functions of the Rangers as well as supply them with necessities.

 

Drillmasters

 

The Drillmasters are the second in commands in the Rangers. Each is given a specific area to teach the others. They are elite warriors and are masterful in their area of teaching. There are 4 Drillmasters.

 

Rangers

 

The Rangers are full-fledged members of the order. It takes years of hard work and training to reach this level of expertise. Few can defeat a Ranger in combat and most do not live to tell the tale.

 

Initiates

 

The Initiates are the starting base for advanced training. They begin to learn different techniques and tricks in the weapons they specialize in. It is commonly a starting rank if you have previous experience is fighting and can hold your own.

 

Conscripts

 

The Conscripts are the lowest rank of the Rangers. They are for those who have no experience and fighting but still wish to join. They are basic fighting units who build their strength until they are ready for the next step.

James' home city was attacked everyone killed except himself and his father. His father trained him for 8 years perfecting bow and dagger/tomahawk throwing skills.  He then found out the man responsible for the murder of his city was heading to Anthos and soon after followed him. He got in touch with his older brother Luke and he informed James of everything that was going on in Anthos. James now seeks adventure and friends within the land
