Full Name: Crixus Victius

Ambitions for the Future:  Crixus was born when both his father and mother were reaching their middle ages. Crixus' mother was an elf. She was quick, cunning, and very sly; as for his father, he was strong, big, and fierce. He fought off the undead forces with his army. The unlikely possibility of Crixus parents meeting each other stunned most of the Holy Oren Empire and the secret band of elves in which his mother was apart in. When Crixus was born, he was born as a human and had both of his parents traits.

As a young man, Crixus always looked up to his father and wanted to be a warrior like him. He started his training at a very young age, learning the way of the forest and the speed to get to destinations. Then, his father would train him by wood sword fighting in his father's house in Arethor. They would fight and Crixus would learn from his mistakes. With all this training, he didn't receive much education, but he is good with the ways of nature. When battle time comes, he always has a plan and executes it precisely. Crixus became a balanced warrior by the age of 16 and once his father retired from war, Crixus was on his own. Crixus lived in the wild and trained himself for 5 years until he was ready for the real world and to fulfill his destiny as being a warrior.

 

Personality:  Crixus has a humble personality. He doesn't talk much and when he does he speaks of wise words. Crixus has intelligence in certain categories. In the wild, he has high intelligence, and in towns he has low intelligence. Crixus is kind to other people and doesn't judge on the way they look or their way of action.

 

Skills:  While in training, Crixus always used the bow and arrow. His first attack was always with the bow and arrow, and when in close combat, he would use dual blades. Crixus is very fast and strong so fighting him isn't easy. When he fights in the wilderness, his opponents fear because they lose sight of him and Crixus is very dangerous. His opponent would see Crixus in front of him so his opponent will let out a lunging slash, Crixus would dodge the attack and quickly stab the enemy from behind.

 

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):   Crixus has green eyes with medium length brown hair. He wears green cloth and a mask to help keep his face from getting hurt from twigs when he is in the trees. He wears a quiver on his back always filled with arrows used for hunting or war. 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

 

Answer:  Crixus noticed a man in dark-clothed clothing making his way towards the Emperor's palace. Crixus knew that he was after the emperor and was sent by someone. He observed as the dark figure made his way past the guards and into the palace. Crixus moves hastily up to the guards nearby and warns them of this particular man and points in the direction. Crixus tells the guards, "He went in this direction, but I will change his route back towards the gate. Get the guards ready quick!" Crixus dashes in the route in which the figure took and moved into the palace. He takes his time to observe the room and realizes that the carpet has been moved out of spot across the floor. Crixus realizes that the figure must have dragged his feet by accident on the ground causing the carpet to move. He made his way towards the Emperor's room and when he arrives and peers in, he sees the dark figure ready to strike on the sleeping Emperor. Crixus dashes across the room and quickly grabs the hand with the knife. They wrestle each other on the floor until he pries the knife away from the assassin's hands. Crixus punches the assassin in the nose hard until he heard the bone in the nose crack. Crixus punches the assassin again at the same spot which made the assassin wiggle free and down the hall. Crixus chased and had to dodge obstacles that the assassin laid before him. The assassin ran towards the gate and tried to brake. He slipped and fell and the guards hurled their bodies at the assassin until the assassin was pinned to the floor. The guards stood him up and removed the cloak from the assassin. The assassin was a young man with blood raining down his nose from Crixus' punches and he had short blonde hair. He looked as if he was from the area and wanted revenge. They took him off and the guards thanked Crixus for his actions.

 

 

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armor and an iron long sword, how do you react?

 

Answer:  Crixus studied the situation and noted that the bandits wanted to mug the old man for his money. Crixus knew he needed to help the old man, so he observed his surroundings. Crixus noticed that he can easily climb the nearest, tall rock and silently take down both of the bandits within an instant. Crixus scurried to the rock and started to make his way up. As he got to his wanted height, he began to balance and make his way down to striking distance. Little did Crixus know, but the bandits already began to assault the old man. Crixus got to his spot and looked down and realized he needed to strike now. Crixus jumped off the rock straight in the air and lunged his sword straight down. Crixus' sword went right through the helmet that the bandit was wearing and right into his brain. Crixus fell to the ground and rolled as the other bandit tried to slash at him. The bandit's sword left a deep, clean cut across the ground and the bandit began to slash again. Crixus dodged the attack once more and the sword slashed across the cobble of the cottage. The old man shouted, "Here!" and tossed the iron blade to Crixus. Crixus knew the  blade wasn't strong enough to pierce the armor so he decided he needed to move fast. As the next slash came, the bandit used all his power and missed Crixus by an inch as he dodged it. Crixus quickly lunged forward with the iron blade, jabbing it right into the bandit's face. The bandit's body lost balanced in a split second and fell to the cold morning grass. The two bandits lied dead on the ground, and the old man was still hurt from the beating he took. Crixus helped the old man up and into the house without looking back at the bandits he has killed.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

 

Answer:  Crixus was looking for a new quiver for his arrows, for his old quiver was worn out. When he approached the stall he noticed that the small man had a look on his face. The look was as if he had a plan. Crixus didn't know what his plan was for he had little business education. The small man spoke to Crixus saying, "Find anything you like particularly?" Crixus replied, "Do you have any quivers that you can sell to me?" The small man knew from the sound of Crixus' voice that he knows nothing of business. The small man said, "Yes! Of Course! All kinds! Ones that hold many arrows, and ones that are in great shape!" Crixus smiled and said, "Well I need one that doesn't hold much arrows, and is in good shape." The small businessman  replied, "Ah yes Indeed! I have one that suits your standards and is in great shape! It is right here!" The quiver looked fairly new and was very thin. It was brown and looked like it was made from leather. Crixus smiled and said, "This is a little bit too thin. Do you have any a little bigger?" The small man pulled out another quiver that was similar to the first one, but a little bigger. Crixus said, "Perfect! Now how much is this exactly?" The small businessman knew he had Crixus beat and said, "Well, how much do you think it costs?" "At least 100 gold," said Crixus. "Deal!" said the small man. The small man knew that the quiver didn't even cost more than twenty gold and has cheated Crixus. Crixus nodded and walked away with his new quiver, not knowing that he has been cheated.

Your power-emoting definition is wrong, and your meta-gaming definition is a little unclear. Please fix both of those.

 

In your bio, you said your father the Undead. Assuming he was born on Asulon, this would not be possible, as the Undead only existed in Aegis, the world we were in before Asulon. Also, if your mother was an elf, and your father was a northerner, he'd be half human (northerner), half elf. You can do this if you'd like, although understand it will be harder for you and your character. Also, please note that while your character can have some skill with a sword, he should not be a master yet, especially given his age.

 

How does his personality change when he goes from the wilds to towns. Are you saying he is not street smart? Clarify this please.

 

I find your first ORQ a little unrealistic. I don't believe the guards would just let your character run in, nor do I believe that the assassin would be able to slip into the emperor's chamber unopposed. It's well written, I just find it a bit unrealistic. I wouldn't deny for this alone, though.

 

Also, you should note the server currency is minas, not gold.

 

Given all this feedback, your application still was quite good. It needs a little work, but most of the changes are minor. Indeed, this was quite a fun read. I hope you won't get disheartened, as you're almost there.
