Role-playing:

just a really fun thing to do with friends! It’s much like
acting, but in many senses very, very different. You immerse yourself into a
character YOU create, not some character from a play script. You get to play
them out, make a story from their actions and what you do with, and have a
whole bunch of fun while doing it!

 

Meta-gaming:

Meta gaming is when you know something your character
wouldn't be able to know. A common one used for examples is when you look at some
ones name plate above their head, and know exactly where and who they are. Your
character wouldn't be able to know these things.

 

Power-emoting:

 When people in
character do things that are incredibly Over-powered, as

in...abilities that make it impossible to hit someone,
things that make your

characters, and other nonsense that overpowers them in
roleplay

 

 

In-Character Information:

Complete the following biography on your character:

 

Full Name: Maciver Snow

Current Age: 28

Sub-race (if any): Adunian

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+
paragraphs long):

Maciver Snow, was born on a cold night in the north. His

father was a proud warrior, and his power was known all
around the north. His

mother was a Northern ***** who died soon after his birth.
When he was 8 his

father married a women from the south and took her up north
to meet the family,

 Maciver wasn’t
trusting or accepting of

her, and refused to speak to her, he used his anger to train
himself in sword

fighting putting the energy into every strike and stab.  Soon he met Aaangr a boy who also shared his

interest in sword fighting and trained with Maciver. He soon
grew to become

good friends Aaangr. His teenage years were filled with
Drink, women, fighting,

and swords. On a warm summers day, he walked upon the wall
of his small village

and saw black smokestacks coming from the farms in the
distance, soon after the

guards came and set up a unit of men to go attack from
horseback,  Maciver, begged and begged
his father to

allow him to fight alongside the guards, his father allowed
him, he quickly

strapped on his armor, but before he could leave the house
his father’s wife

stopped him and handed him a big object wrapped in cloth,
when he unwrapped it

he saw a long bastard sword, with a hilt dark as the night,
with a wolf on it

howling. Then she said something he will never forget: “A
bastard sword for the

bastard” then pushed him out the door. Leaving his half
brothers and sisters

behind.  When they met
the bandits in

combat the 10 men of the guard were defeated, as Maciver
fought he turned to his

side and watch a bandit chop off his father’s head, Maciver
filled with rage

ran at the men and killed him with one swing down upon the
man’s head. The

battle was won, but the scars never healed.

 

 

Maciver has long dark brown hair, and icy blue eyes, his

Skin pale and his heart filled with anger.

-Maciver sits under the light of a single torch he silently

Maciver: Come..

 

 

-Farmer walks in dressed in ripped clothes, carrying a small

Torch-

 

 

Farmer:  Sir Snow i-

 

 

Maciver: I’m no knight fool, now speak.

 

 

Farmer: The horses are staddled and ready to go outside, our

Last ride.

 

 

Maciver: Good.. Be gone now.. A bastard needs his thoughts.

 

 

-Farmer leaves-

 

 

-Maciver takes his sword by the handle and looks over the

Dark as night hilt, and the bright silver blade, and lastly
he runs his fingers

over the wolf craving-

 

 

-Maciver mounts and rides-

 

 

 

 

Ambitions for the Future:  Bed as many women as possible, Drink, and
fight.

Quick-to-anger, Strong, Dark, Depressed, Loyal

Skills: Swordfighting, basic bow and trapping, and how
to maintain armor and weapons.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question in this section must be answered with a
minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as
descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a
dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he
is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do
you do?

 

Answer:

Maciver walks around the huge city, not fully comfortable
with the hugeness of it. He then spies a man in dark clothes figure that looks
to be sneaking around. He then quickly thinks and tries to focus on the man,
and spots near, a band of guards, walking away from the man. He quickly rushes
towards the man, and swings down a hard fist upon the man’s head, knocking him
hard to the ground. “Such a fool” Maciver grunts. Maciver picks up the man, whoms
head starts to tickle with blood. He with one hand quickly picks up the man,
and walks him over to the guards, and throws him to their feet. “Call it a
flavor lads” The guards  look at him weird,
but then looks into the man’s pockets and open a sealed letter, frowns then
says: “You’re a good man for doing this… I want to offer ye’ a spot with my
guardsmen!” looks over him and reply’s “I bastard doesn’t hold any titles” And
walks away.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come
across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it
stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two
heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with
leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

 

Answer:

i see the man, and notice he will not be able to defend
himself. He gets the idea, I can’t kill them both, but I can most likely scare
them off.. I get out of hiding and walk over my fur coat covering my shoulders.
I take a quick sip from my dark leather ale-skin and looks up from the skin.

Maciver:  Now Now
gentlemen, can’t we solve this problem without blood?

Bandit 1:  Human! Back
off now!

-Maciver laughs to himself walking over to the side of the
bandit placing a hand on his shoulder-

Maciver:  Im no human
now.. watch ye’ self!

Human: You bas-

-Quickly grabs the back of his head, and pushes him as hard
as he can into the other bandit knocking them both to the ground-

-draws his sword running to protect the old man and raises
his voice-

Maciver: Leave him now!

-The bandits run off into the forrest and maciver walks off
shortly after-

 

 

 

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when
you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the
stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says
that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is
willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain:
your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

 

Answer:

-Maciver looks over the impressly large amount of items for
a small  stall in a busy city around him
he hears the various sounds of haggling and talking around him, he struggles to
stay on his guard, as he is used to villages and not huge cities but after a
few seconds of chaos he pulls himself together. He picks up a cloak , which
appears to be big but, when he unfolds it, its too short for a man of 6’5-

-Man laughs shortly- Man: We don’t have that big of cloaks
here, but we have various other items that might fit a man of your size –looks
up at him-

Maciver:  Sharping
rocks you have em?

Man:  A few, but I
don’t think it would work well on your blade *points to the giant 1 and a half
hand  sword with enough room on the hilt
for 2 hands*

Maciver: I don’t care lad, whatever ye’ have.. I need.

Man: Hmm 40 minas? That’s all I can do..

Maciver: Ye’ kidding? 40 minas? That’s way too much lad..
ill give ye’ 30.

Man: 30 minas! That’s way too little! Im not a highborn! I
can’t afford that much!

Maciver: I don’t need ye’ busy.. good day lad..

-walks off-
