The Media Wizard 2958 Share Posted April 25, 2013 "... and that is all I know," finished Clavonita. She had come a long way, literally, from her latest discovery of the ruins, now named "Bedevere's Burrow". Although she liked the name, she felt it may be immediately attributed to her father, Aron Bedevere, and not herself. But, Clava was not concerned, as she did not value the fame over the knowledge. As she finished, she looked the Hochmeister in the face and awaited his response. She had just finished explaining her findings after traveling to the North to persuade the King to invest and help in her expeditions into the caves of Anthos. She glanced over across the table to John Horen, the only man besides her partner, Rigal, who had helped her and supported her along the way. "Hmm..." the Hochmeister said to, thinking. "Marvelous to say the least..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The bitter winds slapped at Clavonita's face as she stood atop the large hills in the North. She examined the landscape and noticed the strange writing on the walls that Mirtok had pointed out to her earlier. She squinted and thought all she could, but she could not distinguish any of the language. "Perhaps I can reason with the Boarmen," she whispered to herself as she looked at the large piece of ice that blocked her from the other side; the rest of the North. Mirtok had said they had tried to break through, but the Boarmen always kept them at bay. As she made her way back, trailing Mirtok and John, she wondered how it would be working with the King of the North. "Just ask me if you ever need any money, supplies or man-power," he had said to her. She smiled, knowing her life long dream was coming true. She was going to make history.
