In-Character Information:

Full Name: Nathan "Judge" Elkaten

Current Age: 2

Sub-race (if any): Northerner

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Nathan was a "different" person. The outsider. The person in the dark corner of the room. We all know them. We see them ponder, walk, do things that might not make sense. We may not want to talk to them, maybe we do. But somehow we don't have the guts to do it most of the time. Nathan was like that, pondering and thinking about things no one will probably ever know. But there was something about Nathan that seemed even more different than that. He was bold in the face of danger, slaughtering ever damned demon in his way. That was his purpose, for the greater good. Spilling the blood of those who spill innocent blood. If there's one thing he despises more, it's the Undead. He wants to see the full destruction of every one of their worm-filled corpses. He trains this through his excellent speed, strength, and the strange ability to "disappear". He doesn't really disappear, but no one exactly knows how he does it. This is his story. (At least a majority)

Birth/Childhood: Nathan was born in the the beautiful lands of Oren, in the city of Westport. He would occasionally run around with his parents, exploring the world. When he was 10, he would love to run around in the beautiful plains or explore various forests. This was a place of military (of course), so Nathan's father decided to train him for combat and hunting. He learned basic manuevers with a sword and even a little archery. Nathan seemed to have these very well-handled. He would go out with his father while his mother was cooking or treating the sick (she was a local doctor). Nathan really loved hunting, it seemed like something productive. And he ESPECIALLY loved The Great Hunt. He felt free as he would ever feel! He would bring bags full of hunting game. His mother taught him how to properly skin and prepare the animal for a meal. They would eat heartily. Nathan's father would invite his friends and drink a little Ale with him. He didn't drink too much, despite the fact that his friends encouraged him too. Those were the good old days. The "Golden Age in Life" as they may say these days. All until one night. Starting a devastating memory that would change Nathan's life forever.

The Assualt: It was a still night. A night of silence, though it was uncommon because of the troop movement. Nathan had just turned 12 recently and Nathan's father had decided to take Nathan on his daily perimeter check out the northern side of Westport. It started to become very cold and snow started falling. Nathan's father was almost ready to head back. But then, a type of swirling sound came from a distance. Nathan and his father decided to check it out. "Wait here Nathan, it won't be long" said Nathan's father. "Fine" said Nathan dissapointely. It lasted for a minute as Nathan's father tried to find the source of the mysterious sound, until finally a gigantic burst of energy erupted from the hillside! It was almost like a portal, in fact, it had the same qualities of a Nether portal! The portal had opened and inside, to Nathan and his father's shock, showed a bridge to the Nether. "Nathan! Run to the village! GO NOW!", shouted Nathan's father. Nathan didn't argue, he heard lightning striking behind him. When he got to the village, he saw guards swarming toward the portal on the hillside. He saw his father sprinting down the hillside, along with the portal practically bleeding out Undead. The atmosphere became intoxicated, and out bursted the continuous waves of the Undead. The ground near the portal began to turn into a blood red rock, and it seemed to be spreading! It was absolute madness. Guard deployment was at an all-time high at the moment. Blades and bows splitting and penetrating the bodies of the Undead. Their bodies fell into pieces on the ground. The Undead sending colorful balls of energy toward people, guards and peasants. The people were in panic, for they couldn't do much except maybe pull out a small blade or a bow for protection. These balls either set people on fire, incinerated them, or made them break out into terrible boils all over their body and then made them collapse onto the ground. Nathan saw his father, dodging the balls of energy. "FATHER!" screamed Nathan. "Give up! Mere humans!" shouted a few Undead, with their gravely voices. "Get to your mother! Save yourself!" Nathan's father shouted. Behind him, was some tall black creature that seemed vaguely familiar. Yes, his father had told him about these things! They were mysterious but dangerous- endermen. The Undead must have summoned several. As his father turned around to see the terrifying being, it let out a scream and shook violently. Then, it raised its arm high and struck Nathan's father right through the abdomen. Literally right through his abdomen. The hand of the enderman's hand was smeared with a bits of organ and a ton of blood. It was absolutely devastating and heart-breaking for Nathan. It would be a scar that would always haunt him. Nathan was speechless, but he began to weep bitterly as he sprinted to the house of his mother. On the way there, he heard multiple shouts and commands from the guards. "Flank the city's corners!", one said. "Spread out! They won't be able to strike us all with lightning if we are spread across the city!" another said. "MAN DOWN! MAN DOWN!" another one said. He learned the screams of women, children, and men while fighting against the relentless hoards. He had reached his mother's house in the mist of the chaos. His mother was right at the doorway. "NATHAN! I GOT OUR THINGS! LET'S GET OUT OF THIS HOLE!" Nathan's mother ran toward Nathan. Then they both kept running across what is left of the city. Then a large cry, like a weeping sound, came from somewhere. It was loud and it only took a few seconds to realize that it was an extremely rare abomination... a ghast. More of them kept spawning. Guards started firing arrows at them, only to be blown to bits by the ghasts. By now, the Imperial Oren Navy and even some Oren Lancer troops by the coast had begun unloading military squadrons. The ships began to load survivors onto the ship. But on the way there, a nearby explosion had launched Nathan and his mother into the air. They fell, but it wasn't enough to disable them. The explosion had come from a fireball. Out of all the people, they were being targeted! Nathan then realized that specific groups of people were being blown away by ghasts. The ghasts were shooting fireballs at a high rate of fire. We don't know why they were targeted until we saw that  some of the Undead were enchanting some sort of target spell. Like a command to were the ghasts should fire. Nathan and his mother were targets. Finally, a ghast began to float toward them. Then, it shot repeated rounds of fireballs. Not toward him, but toward his mother... "MOM!" Nathan shouted. "NATHAN!!! AHHH!" screamed his mother. But it was all over, his mother was ingulfed in a fiery explosion. When it faded off, there was nothing left except a large crater. This was it. This was the end. Nathan couldn't take it, he just wanted to die on the spot. He buried his face into his arms while he dropped to the ground. "TAKE ME AWAY! YOU DAMNED BASTARD!" Nathan shouted with all this breath. Then the ghast launched the fireball. This should be quick, he thought. Just as he felt the heat of the ball right on him- CLANG! He heard a clash, he looked up and saw a Navy soldier who had actually deflected back the ball of fire toward the ghast. The ghast shrieked and it exploded with the ball itself. "What are you doing boy!? We need to get out of here!" Shouted the guard. Nathan ran with the guard, though he almost felt like he had just lost the will to live. Nathan boarded the ship and saw most of Westport from the distance. The Navy and guards had figured out that the portal was being controlled by an Undead that was holding a staff, sending a beam of energy to project the portal itself. They took him out, and the battle was soon over. The Undead defeated, ghasts shot down by the Navy, and the monsters slain, Nathan and the rest of the survivors were sailed to Arethor, where they were treated by professional medics and doctors. Despite the fact that the battle was only half an hour, alot of damage was inflicted into Westport. Though, only a few buildings had permanent damage. When Nathan stood their at the dock, he just hoped that none of that was true. But denying that would be right exactly be impossible. He just needed to look around once, seeing people had burns ranging from 1 through 3 degree burns. Broken limbs, torn tendons, many injuries were inflicted into the people of Westport. Now, everthing was pointless. Nathan just looked at a nearby forest entrance and began to run, as if something there was awaiting him. As if something better were to come out of it. Just before disappearing, a guard called out, "Hey what are you doing? It's not safe there!" But Nathan ignored him, he also heard another guard say "Leave him, he's probably going to come back." Though Nathan wasn't sure if he wanted to come back.

The Growth of The Judge: Nathan had now been in the wilderness for about a month. He heard that Westport was still in repair. But that should be done soon. He realized that he can use the tactics that his parents taught him to survive, cooking hunting, and lumbering. But then one starry night, he stil felt the grief that he had felt on the attack. He called out to God for comfort, then fell to sleep. But he had a vision in his sleep. There, he was suddenly at the Temple of Aegis, he felt somewhat.... what was it? Stronger? Lighter? And older, but as if he was a young adult. Why was he dressed in a black robe and wielding a black sword? Wasn't this temple destroyed long ago?! But then he realized, he WAS at the destruction of the holy temple. Undead were swarming into the temple, killing off the monks. But he won't let this happen again. He was enraged at the sight, the mixed feelings about the death of his parents swarmed him and fueled his strength and speed. Then he had recognized that the sword was not just a black sword, but a double-edge sword of obsidian! Obsidian was a very sharp type of volcanic rock. It looked beautifully smelted and shaped in such an amazing manner. But there was no time just to stand around and glance at it. There were Undead that were need to be slain. He began charging at multiple targets with amazing speed, traveling in zig-zags across the temple. Slicing their rotten bodies like butter. He dodged multiple balls of energy and lightning strikes. He was wall-jumping, climbing on the pillars to strike back down at groups of the Undead. He fought viciously through hoard after hoard after hoard, each wave making him feel stronger, agiler, faster. "GO BACK TO HELL!" He shouted in a bold voice at one of the largest hoards, then they charged at each other.  Nathan brutally killed every single one of then without mercy. Flipping and spinning his sword against their flesh. At last, he met with endermen. He had began charging at them, but they quickly teleported before his sword had struck them. Then a few punched Nathan from behind, but Nathan quickly grabbed the chest of one. It began teleporting rapidly into random parts of the temple, but Nathan held on with a grip of iron. Finally, when he got the chance, he penetrated the chest of it. It let out a large scream but it's purple, glowing eyes faded to a lifeless white. It collapsed to the floor. Then Nathan remembered about how these things carry these dark green pearls used to teleport. He mad e a quick incision into the enderman's chest and inside the mass of purple organs, was the pearl. He used this then to teleport to his previous location to fight the other endermen. He quickly took them all out, with the help of their pearls. He kept fighting, until there was no Undead left in sight. Stale, dark blood covered the floor and Nathan's blade. The surviving monks had come out their hiding places, and began to praise God, for he had used Nathan to save the from catastrophe. But then, everything began to drastically slow and freeze. All except Nathan, which was now in bewilderment. Then a large light appeared in the front of the temple. Nathan had to cover his eyes because it was so bright. His eyes adjusted, and he heard a mighty voice with the sound of thunder. It said "Nathan! You have proven yourself worthy of the job I have assigned for you! I have given you the authority to judge the unholy abominations of Anthos and future realms!". " Wait what? Who are you? And how is it that this is the Temple of Aegis?! Isn't this supposed to be destroyed?" asked Nathan. "I am God. The one and only Creator of all existence. This temple WAS destroyed Nathan, but you are having a vision! But I can't let this temple be saved anymore, for it will alter the future too much. I am asigning you the job to fight the evil, the ruthless, and the prideful. You will be know to thousands as The Judge. You shall be rightcheous! Do not abuse this power that I will give you." Nathan seemed disappointed, he wished he could have saved this beautiful temple. He also doesn't completely understand this concept of becoming "The Judge". "Also, I am sending people so that they may support you on your journies" said God. "They will fight alongside you, but for now you must train your abilities. Do not fear! For I will be with you! Now go!" God spoke to Nathan. All of the sudden, the world itself seemed to swirl in an awesome "warp" of energy. Like he was being pulled back into the place he was sleeping in at a fast rate. After 3 seconds, he burst back into reality. He leaped from his wool bed in his tent, startled. He realized what his purpose now, he wasn't destined to live in the wilderness doing nothing. He was destined to slay all evil! He was actually excited! For the first time in 2 months. Now he had to train with all his might! Over the next several years, he practiced and trained his speed, strength, agility, and balance. He found out that it was easy to find hunting game in the areas he moved to. From forests, to deserts, to jungles, and many others. He used his only knowledge to steady himself into the destiny he was chosen to do. After years and years, Nathan belives he is ready to conquer what he rightfully needs to do.

The Present: Nathan is now a full-out awesome assassin, doing his duty for the Oren Lances. The rest? Well... that's something that has to wait to be told. We shall see Nathan's story continue throughout his life...

Ambitions for the Future: Become an important Oren Lances leader (but still be in his Judge uniform) and have a life of prosperity.

Personality: Nathan has learned alot in his years. But he is wise when it comes to conflicts. Deciding whether something is or is not worth fighting for is important, especially to Nathan. Nathan overall has a calm attitude, and can be sometimes social.

Skills: Well, in real life, people would describe him as an experienced parkour person. He is fast and agile, and could wield a sword very well. He even does a little archery.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Please forgive me, I do not know how to post the snapshot directly! Ingame, Nathan has a durable black robe with a hood. He also has a "sheath" for a sword (I don't know what the name of it is) on his back. He also has pieces of black leather armor on certain places for some protection.

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Nathan really hates spiders. He also has his own logo, showing a symbol that repersents Judgement. He sometimes leaves this at a victory he has won, showing his enemies that he was there. The logo is shown in the sample photo.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperors palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?[/b

Answer: This doesn't feel right, Nathan thought. It's unusual to see someone approaching like this. What's the point of "sneaking" into the palace? Unless they don't wan't to be noticed for a specific reason

Nathan then saw the guards, they could take care of him! But the being was entering the palace, and the guards needed to be shouted at in order to alert them. But that would alert the being...

Nathan needed to take this situation into his own hands. But he can't arrest the man himself. When he saw a paper stand, an idea had been made in his mind. Nathan got the paper and wrote short keyword sentences. After a few seconds, he folded the paper making it have 2 wing-like shapes. His father had shown him this. It was able to glide for about 20 meters before falling down to the earth. Nathan looked at the guard post. With a steady aim, Nathan threw the paper. Success! It land right next to the guard's desk. He quickly, but also stealthily, began following the being into the temple. He watched him closely, not trying to attract attention to himself either.

There in the temple center was an Oren government official. He was giving out a speech to the public. As the being got closer, he walked into the corner of the hall behind a large pillar. Somehow, no one seemed to notice. Then at his side, Nathan saw the being with a small hidden at his side. He was looking right at the official. This may potentially be an assassination attempt. Nathan had begun to seemed concerned. He needed to do this quick- and fast. Nathan began to walk faster toward the being. The being now had his knife out, and was preparing to stab the official. We crawled near the desk. He raised his knife and- SLAM! The guards had burst through the door. The captain said, "Where is the dark-clothed man?!" Everyone ghasped in confusion. The being, slightly startled at first, raised his knife once more to stab the official. But now, he was out in the open! "THERE HE IS!" shouted one of the guards. There were a few screams in the crowd. But then, everyone heard something like a rush of wind. Nathan had sprinted extremely fast into the being and struck him against a pillar. The blow that Nathan inflicted was so powerful that the being fell unconscience. The guards ran to the unknown man, and lifted his hood. They recognized the assassin as a known criminal. They dragged him out of the temple and arrested him. "Were you the one who wrote this message, sir?" The captain asked to Nathan.

The message read:

Dark, unknown figure entering Palace

Must make sure he isn't a threat

"In fact, yes I did." replied Nathan. "Thank you for the warning. You saved the official's life and caught a dangerous criminal! But by the way... what is your name?"

"Oh... my name? Just call me the Judge."

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: This can't be good, Nathan thought.

The old man seemed anxious, looking at the 2 bandits, armed with iron armor, double-edged swords, and bows.

"Don't ya' worry oldie, we'll make this quick!" one of the bandits raising his sword.

The bandits raised their weapons, the old man having a terrified look in his eyes,

"NO!" Nathan shouted, with his blade already set for combat.

"Wha-?" The bandit was cut-off by Nathan striking him hard on his abdomen. "OOF!" He said as he fell to the ground.

Nathan then dodged a strike from the other bandit. He then sliced a mid-sized incision on his shoulder and struck the bandit's head with the butt of his sword's handle. He was knocked out.

Nathan then deflected an incoming arrow from the other bandit, has has risen from the ground. Nathan was good at this, since he had always deflected arrows from wandering skeletons in the wilderness.

Now the bandit had pulled his lethal blade out, ready to strike. Nathan got into a fighting position. The bandit and him clashed and swash-buckled' for a couple of minutes. Though Nathan was quick and agile, the bandit had incredible strength. Finally, Nathan had kicked the bandit hard against the tree. "Here! My sword!" The old man shouted at Nathan. He threw his sword into Nathan's hand. With a steady aim, Nathan flung the sword at the bandit. It penetrated the bandit's chestplate and into his chest. The bandit had a look of disbelief and then collapse against the tree behind him.

"Well, that was some fine show!" said the old man. "Thank you." "Your welcomed dear sir, just be careful about these woods, they're are nasty people around here." Nathan replied. "Reminds me of when I was in the Order of the White Rose." The old man said. "I was young and bold, clashing into the enemy and striking them down." The old man sighed. "But one of those Undead monsters struck me, leaving me insufficient to rejoin into combat. Now I am just a priest, but it looks like God is still watching over me!"

"I hope he keeps watching, any how, I have to leave now. Good day!" said Nathan.

"Good day to you, young adventurer. May God bless!" the old man replied.

Nathan then departed.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: "Well, I can take some leather and black dye." Nathan said to the man.

"Yes, we have plenty of dye and leather in stock! Though, there is no set price. You may decide the price, but please spare me. Don't be a greedy fool." replied the man.

"Or... maybe I can take that as a armor format" said Nathan.

"Armour? Sure." said the man.

Nathan decided that 1 piece of leather might be around one or .5 Minas. Either 24 Minas or 12, the 24 would be for the cost of each piece of leather being converted into a specific part of a leather armor set.

Hmm... maybe 12 Minas wouldn't be so bad. I got plenty from lumber.... Nathan thought.

Then again, the dye would be around 2 Minas.

"I've decided it to be 16 Minas. 12 is for the full armor set of leather. 2 is for the conversion of the leather into armor, and 2 is for the dyeing of it into black. Seem fair enough?" Nathan said to the man.

The man pondered for a moment. He then replied, "Seems like a fair price. I will allow it. Thank you for buying also! I'll consider the fact of setting that as the official price."

"I think you should." Nathan said while smiling.

Nathan paid the 16 Minas to the man. Then within a few minutes, the man gave the set of armor for Nathan, and Nathan departed.

Your application has been...

DeniedApplication3V2.png

Fix the age, I'm assuming you mean somewhere in the 20's.

The bio is impressive in its length. Unfortunately, there are things that need to be changed. There were no Undead or Undead attacks in Asulon, they only existed in Aegis. Your character cannot meet the Creator in a vision, unless it's all in his head and didn't actually happen. Cannot apply as an assassin, as this requires a Villain Application. You may want to completely rewrite the bio, as it will require many changes.

See THIS GUIDE as a reference for posting a skin screenshot.

Really, really long and detailed, but the lore used in the bio is outdated and needs to be changed.

Wait at least 24 hours after this post to reapply. Send me a PM if you have any questions.
