bignsxxy 128 Share Posted May 24, 2013 I though all crimes were supposed to have a decent chance of getting caught, but recently it seems these guys wait till i am offline to do all this stuff. Im not complaining, but oocly it is unfair, when they brag about it oocly and then do it rply once i logg off. Just saying because we should have a chance to protect our stuff, its annoying. Are GM's supposed to give us a chance to defend our stuff?

The Cleaning Crew 571 Share Posted May 24, 2013 I don't understand how GMs are supposed to give you a chance to defend your stuff. If you're not there to defend your own belongings, there's not much they can do. It is unfortunate, but those who don't have protected chests or land often have their things stolen. I just try not to value any of my possessions too highly.

Well, Im more mad about the OOC conduct involved in targeting my belongings, but their destruction of my property without permission is being handled by a GM now, TY. bignsxxy 128 Author Share Posted May 24, 2013 One more question: Is it metagamming if you do not know a character and they go on a rampage only targeting your stuff? E.I. Attacking my farm and my ship which are half way across the map from each other. Our characters had no rp interactions, besides ooc talking between us in the chat. Yes, if there's proof that they're targeting your things specifically.

Yes, if there's proof that they're targeting your things specifically. No it isn't metagaming. Even IRL, People get weird obsessions over people they have no knowledge of besides 'that one time at the ___'. If the person has an OOC dislike for you, and you can prove it, I could see it possibly be metagaming, but the same person targeting you for 'no reason' is not meta-gaming.
