Meta-gaming: I believe meta-gaming is using OOC information and implying that your character somehow knows it IC
 
Power-emoting: In short terms; it's doing something un-realistically/ impossible to your own benefit.

Full Name: Vahsai Tereande

Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf
 
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Vahsai was born under Nemmuria, a beautiful Wood Elf. Vahsai's father was non-existent in her life, as he left Nemmuria when he learned she was pregnant. Vahsai knows very little about her father, except that he was a vain and angry Dark Elf. Aging into adult-hood was no cake-walk for Vahsai; She often worked long hours harvesting crops and doing odd jobs around the small village she lived in. In her free time however, Vahsai would often read, and go on walks with only her thoughts to accompany her. She favored these things over playing with the other children. As she entered her pre-adulthood years, she gained a beauty that rivaled that of even her mother. But for reasons even Vahsai didn't know, she grew very distant and cold-hearted. On a whim Vahsai decided to delve a bit into magic, so she read many books about it. Not able to progress enough on her own she knew it was time to leave her home. She continued her dull life in her dull village for a time, until Adult-hood more specifically. At this point she became independent and set out on her own.
 
Ambitions for the Future: Vahsai intends to learn more about magic, doing whatever is necessary to achieve the knowledge.
 
Personality: Vahsai is a cold-hearted woman, and would easily put her own wants over others needs.
Skills: Vahsai has read a small amount on magic, this should aide her even slightly if and when she decides to learn more about magic.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?

Answer: Vahsai walks closer to the group. As she nears them one of the elders confronts her.
Elder A: You there what business do you have with us.
Vahsai: (Realeases a tired yawn) Out of curiosity... Why are you tormentig the little one.
Elder A: Hmph. This one hasnt even learned to read yet! How could ones parents allow this to happen.
Vahsai: Indeed. (looks to the child and says aloud) Perhaps we should send him to live with some chickens, for even they must be smarter than his parents.
Child: (lips begin to tremble, and says quietly) My parents died. (the Child runs off teary eyed)
Vahsai: (watches the child till he's out of view then continues on with her daily routine)
 
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: Vahsai:(eyes the gold coins and thinks to herself) That looks like just enough to pay for the garment i wanted. (deciding against stealing Vahsai unenthuisiastically helps the elderly man up)
Old man: Thank you, kind elf.
Vahsai: (turns and continues on through the forests waving to the Old man as she walks away)

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: Vahsai:(immediatly spots a small sliver circlet with a blue gem in it.)
 How much? (she says pointing to it)
Trader: Ahh. a fine item, that one. 1000 minas, exceptionally cheap, no?
Vahsai: (chuckles at the seemingly absurd price) I'm not a fool, you know. I'll take it for half price.
Trader: (grunts) I've had that thing for a while, and for a pretty lady like yourself, sure why not.

Your Biography was good however try to make sure you are using server lore, this will make your application a lot better and will also give you a quick learning adventure about Lord Of The Craft. Also go into detail about your character and maybe talk about a key event in his life or talk about his strengths and weaknesses  The more detail about your characters life the better as it will tell us, The Application Team that you understand your characters role on Lord Of The Craft. Server Lore can be: Language, Place names, Characters, events, etc..

 

Your Character Questions are too short, please answer these with a paragraph long answer. This will re-assure us that you understand your character well enough to role play with it.

 

Your Open Response Question need to display the role play method in them to achieve an accepted application. You need to set it out like this:

 

Edward looks around the Inn and notices a man tucked away in the corner. The man is wearing dark robes with a hood resting over his head. He walks across the room towards the man before calling over "Oi You! Come over here!" The man looks up towards Edward and gasps before attempting to get up and flee.

 

You should set out your role play that and then we will know that you can control role play with your character and also know if you have the role-playing skills to obtain a place on our server. If you can do this method with every single Open Response Questions they will be at a closer to acceptable applications standard. However do not forget to include details about your character and too make sure you stay as your character throughout the role play. Include his/her(s) strengths or weaknesses to make your role playing effective.
