Sun had set mercilessly on the forest, light shining through like a beacon. Heat raining down like drizzle. Ten men stood within, coveted in the darkness rarely found in this forest, (the canopy of the tree they stood under rather large.) A child stood in the center, and men stood around him. The child was crying, he was elven. A man stood at the back of the group, wearing blue and gold robes, his eyes widened in awe. He tried to scream, but his mouth was sown.. He thrashed, he kicked two of the men, ringing their armor.  They just stared. He watched, and his eyes showed true anger.

 

 

The child began to weep, he screamt. “Stay away.. Stay away!” He said in a shrill voice. Four men began to corner him, looking him down as though he was a pig for the slaughter. His eyes might have contributed to that, they were more like a doe about to be shot then an elf. The men advanced, and he just stood. Sobbing. The man in robe began to cry out, with not to do, all he did was stretch the rather inadequate sowing. The largest man of the group stared at the child, grinning in a way filled with bloodlust. He thrust his longsword forward, and the child made a look down. Blood spattering the ground. His eyes rolled back.

 

 

Sixstrings stood, watching in awe. All he had left was being slaughtered, all he loved was being torn away from him once more. The man whom had thrust the sword threw the body over his shoulder, staring at Sixstrings. He stepped forward, and threw the body at his feet, “We didnun’ do this, elfy. You and ‘er monks of Arfhur did..” He says this with a good deal of self satisfaction prevalent, “Oh, we can’t have you angry little spy..” They took him by the robe, and began to drag him away. “Life dusn’t ‘av happy endings, laddeh.” They say as they pull him away, Sixstrings just stares, eyes full of contempt.
