Definitions

Role-playing: To assume the role of an in game character, making choices that your character would make

Meta-gaming: When a player does not play by the rules by getting stuff that their character should not have. They are not role-playing. They are attempting to have the best character by playing unfairly

Power-emoting: Using an emote on a player that does not give them a say in what happens

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Ehrendil Greenwood
Current Age: 133
Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Ehrendil was born in Leumalin. His father, Ehrendon was a Sentinel of Malinor in Leumalin and his mother, Eliandel did not work. Ehrendil was a gifted child. He was able to use a bow and a sword, a gift uncommon among Elves. He was also very intelligent, even for an Elf. His parents, aware of Ehrendil's talent, hired a private tutor for Ehrendil when he was twelve. He taught him to master the bow and the sword, as well as teaching him to write, read and sing. Ehrendil found that he was very interested in the Ancient Elvish language. Ehrendil continued these lessons for 113 years.

Ehrendil then left Leumalin to explore the world. He went to Kingston, where he learned about the Human culture, then to Aldersberg for more information. He recorded all of his information in a journal He stayed in each for 6 years, before returning to Leumalin. Upon arrival, he found out that his parents were no longer in Leumalin and that they had left their entire fortune to him. No one would tell him what had happened to them. Ehrendil vowed to find out what happened to his mother and father.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?

Answer: I approach the older Elves and ask, "Gentlemen, Why are you mocking this child? Has he wronged you?"."Yes, he has in fact", one Elf replies. "How so?", I ask. Another Elf says, " We caught him stealing from us!". "Do you deny this?", I ask the child. " No", replies the child. "Very well", I say,"Will 30 mina be enough to spare the child from this misery?". The Elves think about it for a minute. Finally, one says "Very well, 30 mina it is, then". I hand him the mina and walk away with the child. "Can you find your way back home?", I ask him. "Yes, thank you sir for helping me!" He says before running off.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: I go up to the man and say to him, "Are you okay, sir?". "Yes, yes. Just help me to my feet, would you?", he says in a hoarse voice. I help him to his feet, then grab one of my pouches and kneel down. I pick up his coins then hand the bag to him. "Thank you." He says  softly." My pleasure! I'll escort you to the nearest inn." I help him to the closest inn. Upon arrival, he hands me a couple gold coins and says," Here. For helping me". I bid him farewell, then leave.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: I go to the man and ask him," How much for a crate of 20 apples?". "100 mina", he replies. "100! I'll go 50". "90".  "Very well, I do not need the apples, farewell!" "Come on! 65?" I turn to him and say, " Okay, 65 mina." I hand him the mina. "Thank you for making a purchase!" I say goodbye and continue on my way.

• ​Please work on your definitions, primarily metagaming, which is incorrect.
• Although you included a lot of server lore in your bio, I'd like you to explain how you traversed from Aegis, to Asulon, to Elysium/Kalos, to Anthos, as your character is of age to have been young in Aegis. Either that, or drop the age a bit, and include only Asulon forwards.
• Please obtain a new skin, the one you have is a little bizarre looking. If you aren't able to obtain one, there are plenty around the community to assist you, including myself.
• Please include a little more detail into your ORQs.
