[Resolved] Soulstoning In Iron Mines = Death, Apparently.

I recently was mucking around in the Iron Mines, looking for some ore, when I was beset by a horde of mobs. I beat them, but I was at 1.5 hearts, so I decided I'd soulstone so I wouldn't get murdered by more mobs.

 

I was teleported into blocks, and I died almost immediately. I had an iron sword at slightly above 25% durability, a set of stone tools (no hoe or sword), 127 bread, and around 16-17 coal that I lost as I was teleported to somewhere in the Mine World and suffocated.

 

The area is most likely the set spawn area for the world where these mines were built, as the soulstones take you there. The coordinates of the location are as follows:

 

X: -72

 

Y: 65

 

Z: 252

 

This location is actually not the exact coordinates of the cloud temple in the main anthos world. I think that setting the spawn point in the world that these mines exist in to an area with a warp that redirects you to the cloud temple would fix the whole problem to be honest.

I would like my items reimbursed as well. I spent 50 mina buying the bread, and the iron sword is going to be difficult to replace.

Last time I tried soul stoning in the mines it said I couldn't.

The mines are in a completely different world to the normal surface world which means of course with the soulstone plug-in it teleports you to the Co-ordinates set.. As that's how teleportation works. Therefor you where teleported to the Co-ordinates that should be Cloud temple but as you are not on the surface you where teleported to that worlds equivalent location. I doubt you will get your stuff back as I don't think soulstones are ment to avoid peril in places that are designed to kill you. Sorry :(

Unless you have a screenshot to prove the items you had, there is little chance to get your items back. As Watty_Banker said, Soulstones shouldn't be used in Mining worlds. Best of luck with everything though!

For now it's safe to be concluded that Soultstoning in the mining worlds, at least for the time being, is ineffective and likely to result in death. Unfortunately, without screenshots there is no way for you to be reimbursed for any items that might have been lost due to this. At the moment, I'd suggest that players refrain from using their Soulstones while in the mining world, and that if by chance they do, that they take screenshots for an optimal chance at reimbursement and minimum frustration.
