A letter arrives addressed to House Blackmont, specifically for Lord Lucius. The parchment is tied in an intricate wrap, adorning the seal of an Old Grey Tree - House Green.

 

"Lord Lucius Blackmont, I have recently received a letter from your captain, Ser Drelik, bearing a formal declaration of war against me and my House, enacting ridiculous demands with threats of flaying my people. I assume you are aware, of course, of the current crown authority, and that a formal declaration of war is breaking the Emperor's peace, and laws. I assume that you are also aware of my current liege, Silus of House Horen, and that a declaration against me is a declaration against my liege, and his House, the Emperor's House. Luckily, I realize that this declaration was likely a foolish act of your captain while his judgement was clouded in fury regarding what has come to be known as "The Green Wedding", and event which I assure you, I had no part in."
