In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Harold Grimsson
Current Age: 36
Sub-race: Northerner

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Born in a small village near the Holy Oren Empire's border, in the Duchy of Westerland, placed under the Royal House Chivay, Harold was raised in one of the many normal families of the Empire - originally hailing from nearby Hanseti; wherefrom the Grimssons fled at the first sighting of the great toxic cloud that infested the Realm's lower areas for an entire year. His father was the village's blacksmith and it was never questioned that Harold would take over his work at some point, for old Iknar Grimsson (Note: Of course he's not Grim's son, the name is handled just like a plain surname because of the cultural influences in Westerland) always encouraged his family to show the typical "Burgher-Pride" through which craftsman often distinguish themselves from the plain peasantry. Until then he was raised by a kind mother, causing his attachment to family ties. Life was neither hard nor easy, money was just enough to make ends meet. Dwelling so near a border was a risk of course and by now and then young Harold would see his father leave with the citizen militia to fend off bandits and marauders, accustoming him with the harder sides of life by young age.

Eventually his father would retire, placing his full-grown son as the village's smith - a task he faces with great affection, knowledge and experience. Increased contact with villagers and neighbours would soon make him see the whole settlement as part of his family, a part he faithfully cares for. Now how would someone, seemingly content with his life like Harold completely change it? Well, his village was neither burned nor looted. No, it were economic reasons that made him leave his hometown - Trade focused more and more on the big cities, for example the Empire's Capital Abresi and the thriving City of Aldersberg, rarely would merchants now come to see the small cottages and fields of the border villages of Westerland; few would hear the busy sound of his hammer forming metal or his strong arms reparing old buckets...

With the latest increase in tax, directly carried out by House Chivay, the situation for an expensive business such as forging would become unbearable. A hard decision it is for leaving home means leaving behind a part of yourself, but Harold, now without kin, leaves his home, heading for the bustling Capital of Abresi of which tales and rumors of it's great riches spread all across the countryside  - A devout Smith starting a new life.

Ambitions for the Future: At some point being able to purchase a smithy and carry out his old work./ To find a place among the people and fellow citizens./ To call Abresi his new home, the place where he belongs and feels 'right'.

Personality: Warm, welcoming and caring to members of his personal family. To get included however is hard labor and though friendship will last, it will be hard to acquire for Harold can be quite mistrusting and careful, even gritty sometimes. Generally mistrusts and harbors dislike against foreigners and ,most notably, non-humans.

Skills: Excellent smith in regard of forging and reparing tools and devices, has quite profound knowledge of weapon forging while still being far from a master in that field of work. Knows how to read and write but doesn't use it apart from writing down budgets.

Appearance: (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): A li'l belly, big, strong, a bit rough around the edges...  Tk8nCPY.png

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: Harold would head to the guards, confronting the captain with his perception: "By your leave, Captain, seem that scurvy figure not strange to thee? Methinks I'd draw thou attention to't." He would offer his help and encourage them to slowly follow the figure instead of trying to catch him right off the bat. "Aye, friend.Though, in Faith, I recommend thee wait and follow first; not until that cutpurse is cought between wall and cold steel of ours shall I want to take him." Together they'd slowly close on him and, once they are in less busy streets, he'd help to take the figure prisoner on command of the leading guardsmen. With that being done, he'd probably head home again, seeing that his duty is done and he shall not stay without explicit appeal of the Captain.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: When beholding the two bandits, Harold would take out his hammer, the only weapon respective tool he carries with him, and run up to the two outlaws, screaming: "Safe yourself, good Man, head for town!" He would not encourage him to fight for Harold knows he cannot match the two bandits in combat skill and armor. He'd swing his hammer a few times, just to keep the brigands at bay and would then run back to town on first occasion, hoping to outrun his iron-clad foes. In order to reach the town, he may even throw away his hammer, making haste to receive protection from guards and fellow citizens.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer:
Approaching the man, Harold greets him, soon getting to the point:
Trader: "Good day, Friend. Interest thee my wares?"
Harold: "Greetings to you! What money wouldst thou then charge for these tongs and that bushel coal?"
Trader: "I prithee, just name a sum. What are you willing to pay?
Harold: "Well, though that tong doth not seem that quite well-crafted to me, it'll do it's job, methinks - and jurely it's sore lustrous. 22 Minas, do I say. And 5 for the coal. What you think?"
Trader: "Give me 25 for the tong and the sum is round again. T'was, in fact never used before."
Harold: "Then look at the scratches on the top, that's not new and when you say it thrice. And it seems to me that the sum'd be round with only 23 coins in your purse."
Trader: "28 Minas seems to me 'bout fine forasmuch is your haggling talent. Fare thee well, Friend!
