The Duchy of Corpathia & New Reforms

Section I: Vassalage

I.  Under Guidance of His Imperial Majesty, William Horen III, His Grace, Richard Horen III is hereby declared the new Duke of Corpathia.

II. All vassals under the previous Dukes, Podrik Denims-Therving and Throdo Denims-Therving are now vassal lords under their new liege lord, Richard Horen III

III. All vassals are informed to report to their new liege lord and swear fealty to him of which he will then decide upon the fate of the vassal lords previous lands should they stay loyal or switch vassalage.

IV. All military forces within the Duchy are inclined to speak with the new Duke of Corpathia on their fate, should they swear loyalty they shall be kept as the new, combined, military force of Corpathia.

Section II: Taxation

I. Taxation is now under effect, the taxes may be paid by mina or in trade of iron or food materials.

II. The Duchy Taxation of Corpathia will be instituted to fit the ability to pay taxes of each citizen.

            I. Taxes for Lords of the Feudal rank of Count will be paid in total amount of 250 minas or in a material value of the same amount.

II. Taxes for Lords of the Feudal rank of Baron will be paid in total amount of 150 minas or in a material value of the same amount.

III. Taxes for Citizens of the Duchy of Corpathia are to be paid in the total amount of 50 minas or in a material value of the same amount.

III. Vassal Lords of Corpathia are allowed to change the taxation amount paid by their citizens as long as the amount has been discussed with the current Duke of Corpathia.

Section III: Census

I. All current citizens of the Duchy of Corpathia, Lords included, are required to send in a letter or approach the Duke of Corpathia and inform him of their living agreements in Corpathia.

II. All current citizens of the Duchy of Corpathia, Lords included, are required to sign up for citizenship papers, so that the Hall of Records in Corpathia can be updated with the current population of the Duchy.

I, Darek Althered, Count of Ager, and leader of House Althered, wishes to humbly inform you that I live in the keep of House Althered in Ager. Along with that, I would wish to conduct the census of Ager myself, for many of them are but simple farmers and do not understand the politics associated with a new Duke. Along with that, I wish to arrange a time to swear vassalage under you.
