Question Reguarding Character

OK. so iv been gone for a while, and pretty much iv had some problems irl and i want to continue roleplaying as my character. Can i act as if nothing happened during the time iv been gone and just start from the current time? or do i need to age my character and whatnot in order to consempate? I really don't want to start a new character to just continue off from where i was before.

Your character would probably age, BUT aging your character is completely up to you. You aren't forced to age your character, so you can play him/her right where you left off, however, I suggest you think of a reason your character was away, maybe he/she was travelling or something. If you meet anyone you know, they'll wonder where you were!

You should age your character and then explain their absence with something like 'they were off traveling' or deeply sick or something along those lines.
