Role-playing: Roleplaying is when you take control of a person or thing from your imagination and bring it alive in a fantasy world.

Meta-gaming: Meta Gaming is the use of ooc to learn something in character which is not acceptable for example skype you may use skype to talk with your friends when on the server but you may not use it to learn something in character.

Power-emoting: Power emoting is saying something in Role-play that doesnt allow the other to respond back or basically forcing an outcome that goes towards your way.

Full Name: Leon Ventis

Current Age: 36

Sub-race (if any): Northerner

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Leon grew up in Abresi with his mother Meredith & his father Dante. When Leon was born he had one green eye and one blue eye. Dante left Leon and his mother a year later and they never heard from him since. At the age of 7 Leon was always fascinated with the world and would always explore the town. He always showed an interest in bows and swords. Leon walked up to his mother one day and asked for two wood swords and a bow. He would practice almost everyday improving his skills and perfecting them.

 

At the age of 15 Leon’s mother was dying from the Plague. Knowing that there was nothing anyone could do Leon stayed with his mother till her final breath. Leon packed some of his things and left Abresi and lived off of the wildlife and plants. He would hunt everyday to get his food which was mostly pork. By doing this everyday to survive this made him an exceptional shot at moving targets. Leon would fight bears with two short swords which helped him learn how to deal damage to his enemies properly. He did this for 20 years while also selling some of his daily game to travelers and buying whatever they had to offer. One of the travelers mentioned of two warriors known as Apollo and Orion Ventis. Leon thought to himself and tried to comprehend how it is even possible he has family left alive. After hearing this information Leon spent a year to find this two possible siblings and fight by their side.

plans for the Future: Leon plans to find his stepbrothers Apollo and Orion Ventis. He knows about them but nothing of them and their personalities.

Personality: Leon is very shy with strangers and also cautious around them. He is a very energetic and happy person around close friends and family. Against his enemies he will not hesitate to kill them if they step between him and his loved one’s.  

Skills: Leon is a talented marksmen and always makes his shots count especially in the most vital moments. Leon is also skilled with two short swords in close quarter situations when or when his bow is in a unusable state. Still though as he is still talented with these forms of combat he is not a master of either of them.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):Leon wears a cloth cowl that covers most of his face so that his enemies can’t know who he is exactly unless he tells them. he wears leather armor with throwing knives strapped to the side of his legs for close to mids range attacks if he doesn't have his bow out. Leon is light skinned with short brown hair,one blue eyes and one light green eye.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

 

Answer:*As Leon is walking through Abresi he see’s a dark-clothed figure headed up to the palace trying to avoid detection for the guards. Leon start’s to follow him while looking like a casual bystander. Leon looks at one of the citizens and says* “Good day sir!” *the man responds* “Good day to you to adventurer!”

 

“You do me a favor and chat with that person over there? He seems out of place and I would love to talk with him but I have more urgent things to do on my agenda sadly.” *said Leon in a persuasive tone.*

 

“Well I’ve got nothing better todo i suppose. Besides a nice chat would do us both some good! I shall talk with him for you. Maybe we’ll have something in common with each other!”

 

*Leon thanked the man while hoping him and this person did have too much in common. The man fulfilled his part and talked with the figure. Leon walked to one of the guards and told him of the possible situation.* “Good day sir! do you see the man in dark-clothing over to my left?” *the guard looked out of the corner of his eye so the man would notice and said* “Yes what about him?”

 

“he’s up to no good sir. I'm not saying my theory is correct but please post some extra guards at the palace and keep track of this person or this could end in a very horrific manner.” *said Leon. The guard acknowledged his warning and did so. The conversation with the man and this suspicious person lasted long enough for the guards to do what they were told about the recent information. the suspicious person took notice of the extra guards on watch and wait for another day that would never come for later that week the guards had caught him.*

 

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

 

Answer:*Leon was taking a stroll through a oak forest looking for some herbs to use. he saw the cottage and noticed a old man holding an iron dagger and two well equipped bandits who seem to have been threatening him for some reason. Taking advantage of not being noticed Leon draws his bow and arrow and moves in closer stealthily. He reached a good spot where he planned how to take  advantage of both men. Ready he fires his bow and hits one bandit in the calf area of his leg. Quickly Leon sprint’s up to the other man and hits him hard enough to knock him unconscious and does the same to the bandit laying on the ground screaming in pain from his arrow. Leon looks at the old man and says* “Are you ok?”

 

*The man replied* “Yes I surely would have been done for if you didn't come along when you did”

 

“No man should do such things to the elderly. I’m gonna put these bindings on them and take them to Abresi.” *Leon said. the man thanked him greatly as he walked away with the bandits bound by their hands.  

 

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

 

Answer:*Leon is looking for some supplies before he heads out on another journey. He see’s a stall where a man is selling some stuff. The man notices that Leon is interested and says* “Hello there weary traveller! I see you are interested in my wares. what would you like to buy? they’re no set prices so you my haggle with me if you wish.” *Leon thinks about and knows he can’t pass up such a golden opportunity while still be fair to the man of course.*

 

“Well i guess i have time to take a look. Lets see here hmm.... I’ll take that iron sword right there!” *Leon said. The man looks over and see what Leon mentioned*

 

“Oh! this Iron short sword right here? I must say it does match your current one!

 

*Leon thought about this sword. he examined it more and decided to buy it.* “I’ll take it for 75 Minas and this iron shield.” *the man thought about the offer and says* “150 Minas and the shield!” * said the merchant. Leon thought this guy is crazy! Lucky for Leon he knew a thing or two about haggling with his kind.* “Awww thats such a shame. Thats a nice short sword to! Oh well I guess I’ll just take this shield that was once owned by one of the member of the Lyons to another merchant willing to buy it.” *the merchant’s eyes opened wide and immediately changed his mind.* “Wait! No need to do that now! You have yourself a deal” *said the merchant. Leon continues to walk around the city of Abresi and laughs as he had just jipped the man for the short sword.*
