Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - No, so I want to see how the experience is like on LOTC! :D

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Nope.

How did you hear about us?: - I was installing a mod known as MorePlayerModels (MPM) made by a mod maker named Noppes. While downloading the mod, I noticed a new section in the forum called "Servers", reffering to the server that use MPM. I saw your server there on the listing and decided to try it out. That fact that it was roleplay interested me even more, because I have never played roleplay.

What do you think the server will be like? - I think the server will be filled be a land filled with mystical adventures and cultures to were you can socialize and meet! Best of all, you get to express your own creativity by playing as a character you want to act by.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Maybe the one(s) that disallows cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a major issue over the internet. For it to be on a roleplay server is unacceptable.

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not Google’s.

What is roleplaying?: - A gamemode that allows you to create and play as a character you made, deciding their personality, how old they are, their special abililties, etc.

What’s metagaming?: - The act of preforming or discussing things, including OOC information, that your roleplay character cannot possibly know at the time or will never know.

What’s powergaming?: - The act of preforming actions against a person using overpowered techniques which are many times unrealistic. The power-gamer usually always wins, the normal player gets little or no chance to react to the actions that the power-gamer does against them.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - 

 

Before Noah: Noah had 2 parents, Benjamin Alkerov, who was a 35 year old, and

Martha Stalifer, a 29 year old. Benjamin was born in Abresi. He recruited there
for the Oren Lances. He was a sergeant a little while later. At the time, he
was advancing in rank quickly because of his physical and strategic skills in
battle. He was obedient toward his commander. Benjamin was around 5’9 and had
black hair with light-colored skin. He had grayish eyes with light skin. Martha
on the other hand, was a farmer. She had green eyes and brown hair, and palish
skin.  She was born in Ager. As a farmer,
she dealt more with plants than livestock. Along with other peasants, she grew
things such as reeds, melons, pumpkins, and most importantly wheat. She was
very friendly toward her neighbors and former farmers. They first met each
other when Ben's squad was passing by Ager for stocking up in agricultural
supplies. Ben was passing by the alone market while his squad mates were buying
produce in other markets. There, he saw a beautiful woman at the stand. It was
Martha. Martha then was able to make eye-contact with Ben a few seconds later.
They stared at each other for a few seconds. Martha seemed to have a look of
disbelief. Then Ben walked toward Martha's stand. He requested 2 loaves of
bread, then he left quickly. Both of them felt a powerful force between them. A
loving connection. But both refused to show a sign of it. That night, Ben sat
alone at camp thinking about the woman he just met. Almost at the same time,
Martha felt confused about the man she saw. She had no way of expressing what
she felt when she saw him. The next day, Ben came up to talk to Martha about...
anything, pretty much. Eventually they socialized a lot together. After about a
week, Ben then had the guts to say "May you marry me?", to Martha
herself. She gladly accepted. Anyways, enough of that. Let's get on to Noah! :D

Birth and Childhood:  Ben and Martha married at Kingston.

They traveled to Ager and bought a nice house there.  A few months after their marriage, Ben and
Martha decided to have a child. They named him Noah, with the nickname of
"Dawn". They gave him that nickname because right at the moment Noah
was born, the sun began to rise inch-by-inch over the horizon. They took Noah
home after a few days, so that he may begin his life.  Anyways, several years passed and Noah grew
quickly during that time. What was disappointing to everyone (especially Ben),
is that Ben had to go away from the house for over 1 to 2 weeks to go on a
mission with the Oren Lances. And Martha worried about Ben. Though, Ben
recieved good pay and that's what supported a majority of the taxes that they
paid. Noah didn’t understand the situation though. Noah was pretty shy around
other kids when he went into the market square. But by the time Noah was 9, he
came to socialize better, and had learned to do many house chores from his
mother. He went to get an education for a little while (about 2 months) in
several subjects. He never complained when it came to work. He was disciplined.
But despite that, he had actually secretly pranked his neighbors. He would
sneak to his mother’s egg basket (Not all the time) early in the morning to go
out and egg houses with a friend. His name was a guy called Felix Sa’lux. Felix
was an Adunian, though he wasn’t really prideful like his relatives. They would
also tie a bucket of slime (from slimes of course) on top of a random persons’
door to the door itself. When the person opened the door to leave their home,
SPLAT!, it would splatter all over their clothes! The “victim” would search all
around for the pranksters. Felix and Noah found this pretty hilarious. His
parents actually never found out that it was Noah preforming these actions. But
besides pranks, it was also at this age that his father decided to teach how to
Noah should "defend himself". He did this because occasionally
bandits would attempt to raid the village itself. He was concerned, because he
was away many times from Martha and Noah. He couldn’t help defend if he wasn’t
there. First, Ben gave Noah first a stick to handle. He taught him a basic
fighting and block stances. At first, Noah didn’t feel much interest in combat.
Noah actually thought it was pretty pointless to teach a 9 year old how to
fight against bandit attacks. Ben always said, “Better to start now than
never”. But Noah didn’t want to really become a fighter at the time, he wanted
to become a writer. He was inspired by stories of amazing adventures, both
fiction and non-fiction. Tales of ferocious beasts and !  Noah had been educated in writing for a little
while a few months back.  He started
writing a diary of everything that happened during his days. He would get some graphite
that he found a pile of gravel and attached it to a stick in a “fitting”
manner. He would use that as a pencil. His entries could be either a few
sentences long, or several paragraphs. Other than that, Noah’s father still wanted
him to get out and train with him. Though he and Martha gave him full rights
over deciding his path. They didn’t force him to do a specific field (but they
wanted it to be of good pay).  It was
unfortunate when one day, his father needed to repair his sword from the dents
it had in it. Noah had also brought his diary along, just incase anything
interesting happened. While Ben was talking to the blacksmith and making the
payment, a stranger bumped into Noah while he held his diary. The diary was flung
into the fire near Noah. “NO! the-the book!”, shouted Noah. The blacksmith nearby
saw this, then quickly got some pliers and pulled out the book. The book had
been scorched and many of the pages became blacked. Noah was upset for a few
days once they had gotten back to the house. A whole 3 months’ work going to
waste wasn’t so pleasant for Noah. He decided to quit the writing idea for
until…. Until he pretty much felt like it. A few days later, Ben suggested the
idea of actually taking his training seriously. Noah agreed to this, since he
had no diary to write in his spare time. He started working around his tactics
of hitting with his stick. Over time, Ben was able to make Noah a wood sword. Ben
made himself a wooden sword, and combated with Noah. He took it easy on him.
Next, and Noah really liked this one, was archery. Ben was pretty good himself
when it came to bows. He brought Noah an old bow that he used back then, though
it still worked well. Ben explained to Noah that the bow is a very precise and
delicate weapon. Ben set up a simple firing range. Noah had some difficulty
pulling back the string at first. The arrow also wobbled a little. He got a
hang of it after a few days. His range went from 5 meters, to 10 meters, then
eventually he was able to fully pull back the bow enough to where it actually
reached the target. Now, after he started perfecting the bow, his father needed
to show him the principles of un-armed combat. The was considered crucial,
incase he was caught unprepared in a zone of combat. To Ben, disabling your
opponent was the main goal here. Noah learned and practiced a lot with his
father at noon, after his chores were done. As time passed, Noah was 16 and
mature enough to begin real work. He needed a job.

Teenage and Young

Adult: Noah first found
interest in a career as a guard. It was a good paying job, and Noah had begun
interest in things like protecting citizens. He was 16 at this time (as said
previously), and he had a great physical layout, perfect for a guard. But it
was his mental outlook in the world that was greater about him. He was very caring,
honest, and obedient (his caring was partly why he felt a need to become a
protector of the people). He went to the guard post at the edge of Ager and
applied there. They had him accepted and gave him his armor uniform, an iron
longsword, and a crossbow. He didn’t have much experience with crossbows
though, because he practiced with a bow.  At first it was boring, because they had him
stand in specific places for a while, and there wasn’t much activity. Just a
small quarrel now and then about maybe a merchant and a customer. Eventually,
he convinced the Ager’s head sheriff to allow him to scan the perimeter of
Ager, and area also. The sheriff agreed, and Noah began his new duty. He enjoyed
it more than just standing around, and he made several friends in the area, but
he also regained the interest of his diary once more! He wrote entries as he caught
robbers and other bandits once they were put into custody.

 

Noah considered  joining a larger guard organization, like

the ones in Abresi. He felt like he needed a change for his long years of service.  But besides that, he began to become interested to work part time as a blacksmith. Well, actually more like a blacksmith’s apprentice. Blacksmithing had been a “2^nd” primary interest to Noah, even before he started being a guard. But he liked his current job. Noah moved up to Abresi and bought and rented a house up there. He then applied for the Abresi guards and was accepted.

 

So overall currently,

Noah is 26 and working as a guard in Abresi. The
rest shall be determined by future gameplay!

What are they like (personality)?: - Noah is a type of straight foward and handy guy to have around. Despite that he is many times a serious person, he can be eccentric when he's socializing. Noah tries not to be rude or racist around other people, especially from different cultures. Just because you disagree with someone's customs doesn't mean you gotta make fun of 'em! 

What are their ambitions?: - Ultimately, Noah wants to become an official royal body guard. The ones that protect ones of high power from any assassins. To him, it is truly an honor to be trusted with such responsibility.

Do they have any special skills?: - Noah really is trying to improve his skills with long ranged weaponry, like longbows and crossbows. Right now, he sticks to the average iron longsword. 

What are their weaknesses?: - I wouldn't say this is a weakness, but I guess it counts. Noah hates spiders. No, he doesn't care about those little spiders in cellar corners, he's talking about the about the spider mobs that come out at night. These 3 foot long arachnids are just disgusting to Noah. They are abominations that deserve to be slain by a blade! Noah also doesn't like to be in hot areas, simply because he isn't too used to it.

What do they look like?: - He's about 5'8 in height, has light skin, and has a mixture of hazel and greenish eyes. Noah wears a hooded black colored shirt with a type of "vest" securred on it. His pants are also black. He has small leather straps attached to his wrist area in both arms and a sheath made for carrying utilities on his back.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Yes, Noah has a bit of an slight Russian accent when he speaks. Nothing too heavy on his pronunciations of the English vocabulary, but it is obviously noticeable.
