Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I have roleplayed on "Garry's Mod" servers and small minecraft servers.  In "Garry's Mod" I roleplayed as a civilian in the "Half Life 2" universe.  I also have programmed roleplaying video games with the software, "Python" and "Pygame". 

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Yes. These Minecraft servers were lesser known however.

How did you hear about us?: - I heard about you through friends from school.

What do you think the server will be like? - I think this server will be a new and fun roleplaying experience.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes. I agree with every rule.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - My favorite rule is the one were in order to be a villain you must make a separate application.  Being a villain is like a new life.  Therefore I think that rule is the best.

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is taking the role of another character and walk in their shoes.

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is when you take information that your in game character should not know, and applying it in game. 

What’s powergaming?: - Power gaming is declaring the actions of your character.  Example:

Thoraskin hits a dragon with his bear fist

Dragon roars out in pain

Thoraskin stabs the dragon with a dagger

Dragon lays down and dies

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What’s your character called?: - Thoraskin

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Cave Dwarf

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 50

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Thoraskin was born in a great underground kingdom.  His father was a miner and his mother was a stay at home dwarf.  Thoraskin had no brothers or sisters which made him very shy.  Thoraskin grew up to learn many things.  One of those things was that the name "Thoraskin" was meant to sound like, Thorik Grandaxe.  Thoraskin felt honored to be named after such a great dwarf, and this made him want to brag about his honor.  When Thoraskin was 40 years old he went out to tell everyone about his honor.  Because of this experience, Thoraskin felt less shy.  Unfortunately, at the age of 45, Thoraskin's father, Rakdrik, died in a mining accident.  Ever since the death, Thoraskin was once again shy.

 

Thoraskin spent the next 5 years trying to stay strong and let the bad memory of death go to the back of his head.  Thoraskin eventually succeeded this goal and was ready to start a new life and a miner.  Thoraskin pushed forward and grew stronger.  Although it was hard for Thoraskin to work were his father died, he was granted even more honor for not letting those memories scar him.  Thoraskin now waits for adventure and his life goal is to get as much honor and gold he can!     

What are they like (personality)?: - Thoraskin can be very quiet.  This is because of his fathers death.

 

What are their ambitions?: - Thoraskin wants to gain great honor.

Do they have any special skills?: - Thoraskin is a skilled miner.  He also knows how to fight if an orc comes his way.  And to top it off, he is very honest. 

What are their weaknesses?: - Thoraskin has many weaknesses.  He is a little bit fat so he can not run very fast.  He also can not go into the bare sunlight without getting hurt.  This is caused by living in a cave most of his life.

What do they look like?: - Thoraskin has dark tan skin with a black beard.  His beard is covered in diamond ore chunks to add a little decoration.  The clothes he wears are mostly rags.  He is bald and his eyes are also golden yellow.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Great honor would be given to Thoraskin if he is allowed on to The Lord of the Craft.
