The Kha have their own language, but many of them have forgotten it, expect a few words such as ‘sav’vi’, which means ‘Hello’.

Character Sub-race: Kha’Pantera

 

Character appearance (Including age and gender): S’Xarvaj is a sleek male Pantera that is about 20 years old. He wears a brown cloth over his waist, and a necklace on his neck. He also wears rings in his ears.

 

What is the personality of your character like?: He wants to become a merchant someday and he hates being called names. S’Xarvaj is nice to his own people, but doesn’t exactly like the apes, though he will spread the truth about Metzli to the apes. 

 

Biography (If you are applying as a kitten, please only state the name of your parents/siblings)

    Once upon a time, in the homeland of the Kharajyr, here was a Kha’Pantera named Xarvaj. His father droned him with facts about Metzli, which is what his mother also did. When his old father was about to die, which was when Xarvaj was 7, he gaved Xarvaj his golden amulet to Xarvaj, which had messy handwriting of the word ‘Metzli’ carved unto it. Xarvaj, though sad that his father died, spent most of his time with his fellow peers, playing games until they all grew up, which then they talked more of Metzli then ever. When the time came to take his trials, Xarvaj barely passed, but he believed Metzli let him passed, partly because he gave a sacrifice to Metzli beforehand.

    After earning his ‘S’ title, he worked hard in the fields, and talked to his fellow friends into trading silk for herbs. S’Xarvaj also grew interested in going into the mainland and showing the humans Metzli’s bounty. Of course, S’Xarvaj knew he would have to wait a bit longer for him to become a trader, though he couldn’t wait, even though the mainland scared him a bit.

 

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr: Xarvaj wants to become a merchant and traveled into the filthy apes’ land, and spread truth about Metzli, too.

 

Character’s strengths/weaknesses: Xarvaj is good at close combat, but he isn’t that strong, and doesn’t like killing his foes, besides prey. He is good at selling things and farming.

Situational Roleplay Questions

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

 

How does your character react? “Whuh! Stuupawd ape!” spat S’Xarvaj, as he gets ready to punch them, “Nu ape tuuls Metzli’s pwuuple whuh tuu duu!” The humans laugh at this, suddenly, a large Gy’Waka comes, and the humans, trembling in fear, run away. S’Xarvaj turns away and walks happily, praising Metzli for sending in the Gy’Waka.

 

 

 

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

 

How does your character react? S’Xarvaj looks in unbelief at his friend. Why would his trusted friend do this?! Dishonoring Metztli like this!!! S’Xarvaj knew what he must do: kill the traitor of Metztli. S’Xarvaj was about to choke his friend to death, when the Kharajyr’s close friend suddenly bolted away. S’Xarvaj stood there, his mouth gaped wide open. Luckily, some Kharajyr saw the traitor and stopped him, asking him some innocent and friendly questions. S’Xarvaj walked out of the temple, and saw the Kharajyar and instantly told them, “S’Xarvaj swa huum stwul fwam Metzli!” That day, S’Xarvaj’s best friend died.

 

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

 

How does your character react?

S’Xarvaj looks bewildered and angry, he then finally cracks and cries out, “SHAWT UUP, YUU CWUURSE UUF METLZI!” The dwarf stops, and with a stupid smirk says, “Eh, so what? Metzli doesn’t exist!” S’Xarvaj runs towards the dwarf, ready to punch him, panting, “Metzli us wuul...!” lucky for the dwarf, S’Xarvaj misses. Thinking Metzli is telling him not to hurt the dwarf, S’Xarvaj turns and walks away, even though the dwarf is still jeering at him. S’Xarvaj mutters under his breath, “Metzli, fwaguuv twuu dawuf...”

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

 

How does your character react? For the Tla’, for the Tla’! Thought S’Xarvaj, over and over again. He must do it! He must save the cubs! S’Xarvaj jumped over the burning furniture, and saved a cub. S’Xarvaj wanted to help the other cub, but the house was already falling apart. If S’Xarvaj tried to, he would kill himself and the other cub. The only good thing about this was that the young cub would be with Metzli.
