How did you hear about us?: - PotatoOrgy and BrenyBeast did a couple of videos on youtube about the server back in Aegis. 

What do you think the server will be like? - I know now that the server is what you make of it.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes and yes.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Villanous acts needing a villain application. It keeps the amount of "evil" players regulated to a certain degree.

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - Playing a game that requires the player to put themselves in the shoes of their character. Adopt the personality and morals of their character. Talk like them, walk like them. Act out the role their character plays in the game world.

What’s metagaming?: -  Performing actions or making choices in-character based on information that they would not realistically have at the time of making said decision. The use of out of character resources or information to influence your decisions in character. For example, knowing a characters name before they introduce themselves because you read it in the game chat OOC. You wouldn’t be able to call them by their name until they introduce themselves, because when a person speaks, you don’t instantly know their name, nor do they begin by speaking “James Smith said

blahblablah…”

What’s powergaming?: - Forcing the results of your own actions onto another player, without giving them a chance to respond. For example: "David pulled back on his bow, aiming and firing at Catherine's head, it hits and kills her instantly."

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Elf (High)

What sex are they?: - Female

How old are they?: - 141

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Celephia had a pretty standard High Elf upbringing. She lived in beautiful home with her parents. They wouldn't allow her to mix with other races of the world, or even the other races of elf. She did exceptionally well in school, especially in mathematics, giving her a good understanding of economics. When her family moved to Anthos, she began to resent her parents after meeting and befriending a young human girl whilst playing on the edge of the Malinor forest. She would often sneak out to go and play with her friend and began to understand that the other races weren't as bad as her parents made them out to be. 

She attempted to bring her friend home and make her parents realise that the other races weren't to be looked down upon, but were to be treated as equals. Her parents were having none of it and forbade her from spending anymore time with her friend. Celephia hated this and under the pretense of having a job tailoring, she would continue to spend time with her friend. The human lived with her father in Salvus, they were both hunters. Celephia began to pick up certain skills just from spending time with them. How to stay quiet, how to stay hidden, how to spot and follow an animal trail. Eventually becoming as skilled as her friends father.

Celephia loved hunting. Being an elf, she had a love for nature and very much enjoyed tracking. Whilst out tracking a lone wolf, Celephia and her friend were set upon by a wolfpack. They fought and ran and struggled to defend themselves from the attack. Celephia sustained a deep gash across the left side of her face, blinding her in her one eye. Her friend wasn't so lucky, and suffered a broken leg and back, along with various puncture wounds and tears. After the wolves had been driven away Celephia held her friend in her arms as she lay dying, too deep in the woods to get any help. After her passing, Celephia sat and weeped for nearly 2 days, before being found by her friends father. Struck by grief, Celephia helped bury her friend and spent a long time just living a normal elven life back home with her parents. She still resented her parents, and because of her facial disfigurement, was shunned and treated badly by most high elves.

Celephia never truly got over her friends passing but now wishes to experience and explore as much as she can, tomorrow might be her last day.

What are they like (personality)?: - A generally friendly young elf, who judges other people not by race, gender or age, but by character and heart. Becomes quite shy and detached from reality when people get angry with her.

What are their ambitions?: - Since she can no longer hunt due to her partial blindness, Celephia wants to spend some time travelling the world, experiencing everything she can. She hopes that she might learn some magic along the way.

Do they have any special skills?: - Knowledgable about laying traps and tracking prey from her time working the forest as a hunter. 

What are their weaknesses?: - Blind in one eye, can't judge distance.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Celephia has a scar across her left eye from a wolf attack whilst out hunting. As a result her left eye is now clouded grey, but you can still make out the brilliant aqua colour of her eye. Her hair has been died to match her eyes, with a darker blue highlight on her bangs. Celephia stands at 6 feet 5 inches tall.

Though you shouldn't feel bad about this as you've already been accepted! There's no need to write another application if you're simply making another character. As long as you have a decent backstory in mind, just change your skin and character card details and have at it!

 

After being accepted, the only time you'll ever need to write another whitelist application is for an alternate Minecraft account, like I have Rox_the_Druid in addition to my main account, Roxforbraynz.
