What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying as playing as a character you made up or one that already exists. What’s metagaming?: - Using information you got OOC, IC What’s powergaming?: - Playing like you are strong enough to fight anyone and not giving people a chance to properly roleplay with you. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Edrian Turandor What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human, Northerner What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 22 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Born as the fourth son of a noble family in a small town, Edrian's options were limited from the start. His oldest brother was set to inherit the estate and his other older brother was going to become a bannerman while his older sister was going to be married into another family. Edrian made the choice to join the army and fight for his town. Through a combination of training, and loyalty he become the bodyguard for the Duke who his father served. As an bodyguard he protected the Duke from anyone who would try to attack him and slowly the Duke started to trust him and used him as an advisor. Edrian loved fighting and horseback riding and thats all he would do in his free time. During a fight a young woman watched him and after one thing came another and the fell in love. After a week it was discovered he had been having an affair with the young noblewoman and was placed under house arrest in the Duke's castle. He felt great shame for his actions as it was about to undue all the progress he achieved over the years. He felt so much shame that he ran away looking for a new place to start his life all over again... What are they like (personality)?: - Loyal, nice to other people, harsh on himself. What are their ambitions?: - Becoming an army general Do they have any special skills?: - Horse riding and Swords What are their weaknesses?: - Mirrors, he hates his own reflection becomes he feels so much shame Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He has dark hair and brown eyes, he wears a tunic and a thick belt. He is very muscular and 1.85 meters tall. First off, in the future, please link your previous app. I know you said you couldn't find it, but if you click on your profile and hit "My Content", a list of every post you've made will pop up. This is not a primary reason for denying your application. Please expand on your definitions. Mostly Powergaming, just so you know exactly what's wrong with it. I like that you managed to sum up Metagaming so easily, however. Make sure you know exactly the ramifications of such an offense (mostly killing roleplay for the parties involved). On to your biography. As is in the rules, your character cannot be born into a noble house. Sorry. Also, I would like you to include more server lore in your bio, such as places, events, and anything of the sort. It's to make sure we know that you've read the wiki a little bit, every tidbit of information counts. Continuing, you need to explain how you gained each of the skills you listed inside of your biography section. Finally, I'd like you to flesh out weaknesses a little more. Simply not liking one's reflection isn't much of a bane to go against, this section is primarily so you know that your character is not invincible. Once you've finished all of this, you may reapply (of course, wait until 24 hours after the time next to Edited below my post). If you have any further questions, please contact me.
